The Breeze Inn provided a comfortable room with nice towels and free wifi. Other amenities are limited- it is Alaska, so there is no air conditioning. The shower was dirty, and the water pressure was weak. The pillows were very tiny and aggravated my allergies. The room had a refrigerator but no microwave. The hotel is close to everything, which is convenient. If possible, I would award a 3.5 star rating.

Toilet dirty, coffee maker dirty, found jelly beans near bed and the insides of a pen on floor near desk, room surfaces very dirty/not dusted in who knows how long, windows dirty, inside of fridge not wiped out. Bed was ok but covers looked old. See pictures...used a disinfectant wipe on coffee pot--- you see the result.

We stayed in the older part of the hotel for the view of the harbor. The room was definitely outdated and the bed could use an upgrade, but it wasn't terrible. Since it was separate from the new part of the hotel, it was a bit inconvenient for check in/out and shuttle services, but doable. The shuttle service was good. We didn't end up eating at the restaurant, but the local pizza place on the corner was great! The hotel is convenient to tours and Park connection Motorcoach.

We arrived on the Park Connection Motorcoach from Anchorage and dropped our luggage off at the hotel before exploring. The hotel was convenient to walk to from the Harbor Master’s Office where the bust drops you off. The only downside is the lady at the front desk had a lot on her plate and was clearly very overwhelmed with the volume of work and it seemed very inconvenient for her to have to unlock the luggage room! Other Pros: Great location, clean rooms (with hairdryer), big fluffy towels, multiple usb charging ports in the room. Tip: there is a free shuttle that will take you from the Small Boat Harbor to downtown. For the summer of 2021 it’s running every 30 minutes on a loop.

Good local diner food. Hearty breakfast. Decent lunch. Wise cracking amusing waitress. Across from marina. Show central location. Easy parking. Good view of general marina area from some of tables. Full bar with same view. Walk to all of harbor.
