Gem location! Beautiful views of the bay, the boats and the mountains! Walking distance to restaurants and shops! Can't imagine staying anywhere else with the view and back patio! Modern bathroom with wonderful hot water- Comfortable beds ! Lower rooms would be better for those with mobility issues. Parking is about a block away- but there is an area for...

Turns out we were the first guests of the season, so our room was upgraded to a larger room with a great view. The room was comfortable and included a small fridge, microwave and table where we could enjoy the view of the water. The lodge is outside of Seward and right on the water, so we were able to...

The view from room I was breathtaking, with beautiful snowcapped mountains across Resurrection Bay. The bay window allowed us to watch three bald eagles fight over a fish during the midnight sun of the Alaskan summer. The breakfast consisted of fruit, yoghurt, toast, and oatmeal daily. Although the room had wonderful views, noise from other guests socializing in the common...

This place was amazing! Clean, friendly and has a wonderful view of the bay. The kitchen was clean and nice.the price was great. The beds were comfortable and there was a very clear bathroom with lots of hot water. I LOVED that there was no TV. The breakfast in the dining room was nice.

Beautiful location, great views and wonderful hosts. The lodge is not fancy but it is just right for a relaxing time. We rented the 2 bedroom on the lower floor. There was noise from above but it didn't bother us late a night. The guests mingled a lot in the common area, which makes for a great time. They did...

My daughter and I stayed for about a week at the Salt Water Lodge 8/16/2014. Having never been to Seward, the ride from town to the lodge had us questioning what we had gotten into. The hotel is on the coast and very close Millers Landing which is your typical canoe, kayak and fishing guide establishment. Once at the lodge...

The rooms are not fancy, but they are clean and comfortable. The location makes it a easy trip into Seward for whatever you might want to do there. Breakfast was nice, but is served a bit too late if you are doing any type of early morning excursion out of Seward. We would stay here again.

Beuatiful location and great views. It's in a lovey quiet and peaceful location, with a relatively easy trip into town. Kathleen very friendly and nice breakfast too. Room on top floor at far end of building was really big with great views and very comfortable with two beds, fridge, microwave , table and chairs. This would have been a five...

Ethan (the gentleman who "checked us in") was very personable and helpful. The lodge is just shy of average. The interior of the rooms is sub-par and the bed is extremely soft. There was mold in the bathroom & it wasn't really clean, poor amenities & no curtains. The curtain thing wasn't such a big deal because the view is...
