Great hosts, right on the beach, BEST PLACE IN SEWARD! We love to go in the fall and spring...heck, we love to go anytime! Easy access toLowell Point beach, a great place to hang out, and the hike out to Tonsina is always lovely.

My husband and I stayed one night in the High Tide Room while on our honeymoon and it was fantastic! So much detail has been put into the exterior and interior decor. The bathroom and tiled shower are fantastic and the bed was very comfy. We loved the view of the bay from our moon and could see eagles and...

We would enthusiastically recommend the Kayak Inn to anyone visiting Seward to enjoy Alaska’s majesty! We stayed in “Low Tide” Room. It follows an enticing maritime theme and displays the great taste and excellent craftsmanship of the owners. It comes with an awesome view of Resurrection Bay and the snow covered mountains on the far shore. The room was very...

We stayed here as a couple on our honeymoon, in the High Tide Room. We were able to check in upon arrival and it immediately felt like home. The owners and their daughter are so friendly and live right next door. The room was stocked with some food essentials you might need, such as teakettle, plates, bottle opener, glasses, silverware...

The Paddle Inn is located via a dirt road a couple of miles outside of Seward on Resurrection Bay. It consists of two rooms: the downstairs known as the low-tide room and the upstairs, or high-tide room. Both rooms have the same footprint; however, the lower one has been divided to make for a separate sleeping and living room. We...

Thank you for your review, we really appreciate it. It was a pleasure having you stay with us for the five nights this August. I feel terrible the weather wasn't better for you. I'm glad you had some good times here: seeing the harbor seal being released, hiking the Lost Lake Loop, enjoying some of our local restaurants, and having...

We spent two nights here after a cruise. The accommodations (a two room cabin built by Alan, your host) are very comfortable, and the hosts were friendly and helpful in suggesting places to hike nearby (there is a lovely walk in the woods which you can reach on foot from the inn). The picture window in the front room looks...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us. I'm happy to hear you liked the Tonsina Trail. It is one of my personal favorites. I like that I don't have to drive anywhere for a beautiful hike to a salmom stream, beautiful beach and an old growth forest with magnificent trees!! Please come again. It was...

We had a great stay at the Alaska paddle inn. The owners were very helpful and gave us some really good recommendations on what to do and eat in Seward. Views were fabulous. The place was really nice and artfully done. Best shower I have ever had and the bed was comfortable. I can't recommend this place enough

This was my first trip to Alaska and I decided to stay in Seward at the Alaska Paddle Inn and make that my home base for exploring the area. I had 10 nights in a beautiful room with a million dollar view of Resurrection Bay. It was comfortable, quiet and just a couple of miles from downtown Seward. Alan and...

The room was huge and renovated. I really liked the decor. The view right outside the window was great. The bed was extremely comfortable. The host was very welcoming and responsive. Overall, it was a good place to stay. Only thing, I wish they provided a cooked breakfast.

We were in the High Tide room on the second floor for 3 nights. The views were nice - cruise ships coming in and out of Seward and small boats on the bay. The location was quiet. It was a ways out of town down a dirt road as mentioned by other reviewers. The ride to the Inn was not...
