We stayed at CTO for our anniversary and it was an amazing, outstanding, romantic and peaceful place. We had our own cabin, which was nice, clean, modern and very comfy. We got the meal plan, since it miles out of town, and we had most excellent measl. Desi did an awesome job of holding the fort down while one of...

We stayed at The Outpost two nights in late June and were very pleased with every aspect of that stay. Our first night was the night before heading out on the Chilkoot Trail. We got one of the Hiker cabins and found it to be very clean and comfortable and an ideal stay for getting ready for the trail. There...

We stayed here the night before we hiked the Chilkoot Trail and the night we finished. What a perfect place for us. The owners let us leave our vehicle there while we hiked and even brought it to the train depot for us on the day we finished. We were all treated like family.

Beautiful lodge with fully furnished and tastefully decorated cabins. Facilities and grounds are very clean and well-maintained. Kathy and Fred are delightful hosts. The drive out on Dyea road is lovely and the Outpost is a destination in itself. Highly recommend.

my husband and I stayed with two other couples. The cabins are cute and very nice. The breakfast that is included is very nice and they even provide s'mores makings. Kathy the owner is personable and fun to talk to. You can't beat the location!!!

Wonderful hosts! Food is great! The cabins were very clean and had everything we needed. The peace and quiet was for me, a haven. Can walk or bike (complimentary) so many places and the scenery is beautiful! Sitting around the campfire relaxing in the evening and chatting with other guests, making smores was a nightly treat!

I was looking for something different than staying in Skagway. This was perfect: still close to town but out in the wild. Comfortable cabins, clean and very friendly staff. I will most likely stay here again...
