I am planning on traveling from another engagement to Skagway to hike the Chilkoot trail. Does the Outpost offer a place to stash a carry-on sized piece of luggage while I'm on the trail?

You can walk to the beginning of the trail. It was very easy and they even delivered our vehicle to the train station where your adventure. It was pretty perfect.

Hi, we are flying to Juneau on 6/19/17. Is it worth it to stay in Juneau? Or can we see all we want from the Chilkoot Trail Outpost? How do we get from the Juneau airport to the Outpost? Is it worth it to rent a car? We want to day hike, see whales take the scenic railroad. Not opposed to taking the ferry places as well. Total time in the area would be 4-5 days. Then want to fly to central area see Denali and Seward/Homer. Thanks!
