Budget experience ( what you pay what you get) I have stayed there for one night in Paris. The hotel is located around 7 kms away from city center and takes around 30 mins in metro and almost 1 hour via bus to reach the eiffel tower area. Now, rooms in the hotel is super small and crampy which I can understand from the price point of view. Elevator is occupied mostly in the whole morning time and every client has to take stairs. There is no dedicated restaurant inside the hotel. The receptionists are super friendly and nice. In one word, it is a average budget hotel. Only relavent for travellers who has short of money to spend.

Me and two friends stayed in the triple, which was extremely small to be a triple (the third bed was on a loft with a narrow/steep ladder, so beware if you are physically unable to handle the climb.) While I'm used to small spaces (this was my 5th time in the Paris area and know space is at a premium here) I got a chance to look at some of the other rooms and they had significantly more floor space, so I'm not sure what they were thinking turning this one into the triple. All that aside, what really did it for me was the lack of cleanliness, which is my #1 trait I look for in a room. The sheets were not changed daily, and even after the room was serviced there was still hair on the bathroom floor, sink, shower, etc. The toilet wouldn't even flush all the way! When we reported that to the front desk, they laughed and said that's because the toilet paper wasn't very good quality. Ummm....then maybe buy better toilet paper so that we don't have to live in our own filth!? Not sure why that's a laughing matter, either...it's disgusting. Even the hot tub in the basement (they call it a "wellness room"....it's a basement) was mildewy and the water wasn't even that hot! Not so sure about the hygiene there. All in all, it's okay value in an okay location (if the trains are working, which they weren't when we were there due to the strikes) and the rooms are cute and colorful, but if you're like me and prioritize cleanliness, I'd look elsewhere.

Room was well appointed. Hotel has a wellness room with hot tub and steam room. You have to make a reservation with the front desk, but it is well worth doing in advance. We walked a lot to get to tours and around Paris, and these amenities were wonderful after a long day of walking. Friendly staff and convenient location to local grocery stores, pastry shops, and restaurants.

My partner and I spent 2 nights there, as we booked through smart box gift. My expectation wasn't so high, due to rumors about that neighborhood. Despite tgat, when we got there, we were very pleased by everything. Honestly the room wasn't that big, but it was cosy and clean. The bed was super comfortable. The breakfast was generous and tasty . All the products looked fresh. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I usually book hotels closer to the city center but Atypik offers better flexibility to move and has every commodities you need to enjoy your stay. I strongly suggest this hotel for travelers. Furthermore, this hotel is a blend of comfort and elegance.

After 4 weeks 8 different Airbnb stays in Paris, I booked my last 2 nights (through Airbnb) at Atypik Hotel. The Clichy-la-Garenne neighborhood, just a couple blocks outside Bd Périferique and Arr. 17th, bordered 2 upscale neighborhoods where I had previously stayed—Les Batignolles to the south and Levallois-Perrier to the west. The latter, BTY, is my favorite Paris neighborhood to date... upscale with fine shopping, cafes on every corner, characterized by gregarious locals living the Parisian life you’ve always imagined WITHOUT the hordes of tourists. Clichy seems a more mixed working class neighborhood, but don’t be deceived, the locals are respectful and the stay friendly. You can walk to Wagram or the mentioned neighborhoods in a pleasant half hour. Add 30 minutes and you can be staring up at Arc de Triomphe. Metro is just 100 meters around the corner and buses run regularly. Atypik is the first Airbnb that had AC (in the worst heatwave on record). The in-room fancoil was silent and refrigerating. There are 2 supermarkets and a natural food store within 2 blocks. If the neighborhood looks a bit down turned compared to its neighbors, the Hotel seems brand new, completely remodeled top to bottom. Artistically done, too. What they call a « continental breakfast » is much more: scrambled eggs, bacon, whole wheat and white toast, baguettes, pastries, yogurts flavored and plain, muesli, fresh fruits and cheeses, all the coffees and teas, milk, and sugar or stevia for sweetening. Pay the 12€ and enjoy a good starter meal. The beds have new foam mattresses = good nights sleep! You are generously allotted lots of towels. All that for $70 a night. I’ll be back. Travel to CDG? 2 easy métros to Gare du Nord. Follow signage to RER B Aéroport. Cost less than 11€.

Visited in March for business stay. Pros: Very close to my office and friendly staff. Cons: Room are small/tiny but functional. After placing my luggage I had no place to roam. Bath rooms are too congested. Room window was facing a school compound and there would be lot of noise if kept open. The location, beside train station, Marie de Clichy, which was very helpful. Hotel is located at a quiet residential street with moderate choices for food but a couple of supermarkets (Carrefour) nearby. Breakfast was very basic at 10 euros/day.

This is not about location but overall satisfaction... There are a few positive points I noticed when I stayed there a few weeks ago (1 night): friendly staff, relatively clean and attractive ground floor, ... BUT: very disappointed by the size of the room, more a cubicle, much smaller than any Travelodge or Premiere Classe or equivalent, excellent bed, very poorly equipped "washroom", no cupboard as such, one or two basic hangers, etc. Certainly not worth half of the +/- £100 charged for the night... Moreover, and on the street side, no way one can sleep with the window closed - no ventilation, or open - noise starts at 5:00 am !!! Will never stay again, or recommend to anyone I like...!

I am disgusted with this hotel. I stayed for two nights and after I checked out on the second day I noticed bites starting to appear. Within 10 hours I was completely covered in bedbug bites I had 25+ on my face and neck where I had been lying on the pillow and a further 30 on my body. I called multiple times to warn them but they were unable to translate. I asked my company travel agent to contact them. Their response was 'you must've been bitten somewhere else because you didn't say anything at 9am checkout'. This is despite my colleague also being bitten, photograpic evidence and confirmation from a Drs that these were bedbug bites which often don't appear until 24-28 hours after being bitten and not everyone reacts to them As a result I had to boil my clothing and ruined £350 worth of clothes I would recommend staying anywhere but here.
