This was our first stay at the Monaco but it will not be our last. The hotel itself is centrally located in downtown, very convenient for shopping, business and the waterfront. Our comfortable room was quite large and on the 6th floor so there was no traffic noise. The entire hotel and restaurant/bar staff was very, very friendly and helpful,...

My family is from the Seattle area had have stayed several time at the Hotel Monaco. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and quite, but let's face it, a room is a room. What make's Hotel Monaco such an outstanding property is the staff! From top to bottom, the doorman, the desk clerk, housekeeping, and room service are all friendly...

Tom! (love the name btw) - your note made my day. I am stunned that Alexis knew about those murals and she is correct - Crete. next time you are in the lobby - look up. It is the staff that can make you or break you, and we have a collection here that really set the standard. While Kimpton...

Hotel Monaco, as we knew it, is well-located on Fourth Avenue, in Downtown Seattle. We stayed there for one week in mid-September 2016. On arrival we received a very warm welcome from staff. They even up-graded our room, added complimentary breakfasts and we enjoyed a free wine hour every evening! Not a bad start! Our room was spacious and 'comfy',...

444 Peter gb - what a great title for a review, thanks so much for taking the time. there are lots of hotels in Seattle (Kimpton has 4 of them btw) and everyone would like you to be a guest, but the difference is the people, as well as the design and location, we have it all. Coming soon a...

This is a wonderful boutique hotel with the best customer service. I called for a room at the last minute as I travel to Seattle for work often. I'm very grateful that there was one room available. Traveling alone for business is sometimes scary, so I was relieved to see the key access to the elevators and the hotel's location...

We came for the weekend for our 10 year anniversary, and a birthday and stayed 3 nights. It was the right decision. I called ahead, due to the specialness of the weekend. I spoke to Elias Bullock at the deck (3:00 am his time, I might add). From the moment we actually arrived, to the moment we left, we were...

Loved the hotel, the wine tasting in the lobby an fish in our room!!! Clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Nice walk from the PIKE that it isn't crazy outside.. but close enough to stroll to. Even getting here from the airport was easy enough. I think you really have to take advantage of the Seattle public transit systems.....

Michael, thanks for this! delighted that you could enjoy having a little fish time! those guys bring a lot of smiles to a lot of people and they only spend a little time in the bowl and then go back to the 200 gallon tank to hang with their buddies. (I mention this to ensure I won't get another letter...

The location of this hotel is ideal to see many of the Seattle attractions. We took the train in and it was about a 10-15 minute walk from the station. Check-in was quick and professional; lobby, while not large, is beautiful. We appreciated the room layout--it was not the usual rectangle. (We had a standard king room). Our room was...

Irene, what a great note. you are right the train goes from the airport to a block away from the hotel for about $3. cheaper than a coffee at Starbucks. the hotel has 18 different types of rooms and they are all different shapes and sizes, come back and give the other 17 types a go. Meet me at wine...

I had friends staying at the Monaco and made a last minute decision to get a room there as well. I have never stayed in a Kimpton hotel as I usually stay at the Fairmont. I still love the Fairmont, but I must say the Hotel Monaco was a very pleasant surprise. I found the staff very professional and personable...

Nedra, how great that you took a chance on Kimpton! My family (husband, wife, and 19- and 21-year-old adult offspring) stayed at the Monaco Seattle for several nights in August while on our first visit to Seattle.
