You get what you pay for and this may not be the best place we have stayed but some of the comments and pictures are misleading. It is in need of a refurb, curtains and carpets are dingy, but towels and sheets are clean and white. The bed was comfy and we even had nice soap and shampoo. No extras...

There are seriously too many, too bad complaints about this hotel! If you compare the price for other hotels in the same location, then you cannot expect too much. I tend towards more luxury hotels, but we just needed a 2 bed room for the night close to the Victoria Clipper ferry. My friend found that she had booked the...

Seriously, how is this place allowed to stay open? Old, dingy, dirty. Showering is a real treat, warm, scalding, and cold all without touching the faucet!! No help from the front desk to print boarding passes for flights, I was sent 4 blocks away to the publice library! It was safer than sleeping in the alley across the street, and...

Ignore the bad reviews - the staff are friendly if you are and it's in a great location! It's a two star hotel in a five star location for just over 109/night in Seattle - no, it doesn't have marble showers (they are clean - and housekeeping has a great sense of humor) or wine hour, or even a mini...

Staff were very helpful but it is obvious the owners of the hotel have no interest in putting any money into the place and are just waiting till it is condemned. Tv's don't work and if the do, the remote controls don't. Not sure how clean they were because I preferred not to look but heh you get what you...

I don't know who would stay here. This place is disgusting - the bathroom has a toilet similar to one you find in public elementary schools from 1980, the bedding was pathetic and the hallways were definitely haunted. I checked out as soon as I checked in. I'm not sure how this place is still open....

Great building conveniently located downtown Seattle but they need to fix the place ASAP. It's about to fall apart. Carpets in hallways are stained, elevator is barely functioning, and rooms need quite a few repairs.

First time I stayed at Hotel Seattle, I picked a standard room but since then I've been doing the extra 40 bucks for the queen deluxe rooms. They are beautiful rooms with a nice brass poster bed. And the location is great! The hotel has such nice history and decor. To me, it is a charming, enchanting part of Seattle...

The best part of this hotel is its location to downtown Seattle. That is it. Their was a no smoking sign posted prominently and the first thing you smell when you enter the room is smoke. I'm talking about that type of smell like someone just laid in the bed and smoked pack after pack for months. The air was...

My partner and I have stayed at a lot of budget accommodation for the same price, and there are several things that usually are still good regardless of how cheap it is: the building is safe and it is reasonably clean. This place was neither; it was falling apart. Everything is smashed up (mirrors in the corridors) and the lift...
