All of Seattle's most popular attractions are within just a few short blocks of us. Staff was super helpful and understanding, end up having to stay a night in the hospital and they reimbursed my second night no questions asked, even though I wasn't able to give them 24hrs notice. Great staff!

Great location for our mini 4 day vacation. Did not have a car, public system timely and convenient.
The only exception, our room faced Bell Street. Throughout the night, street people chatter kept me awake. There are other rooms facing different streets and buildings. When share

Thank you, RdennisA. I hope we were able to find you a room more suitable for your needs! We have recently installed double insulated interior windows in all of our exterior facing rooms that are designed to help reduce normal city noise. For those of our guests not used to being in a big city or who are sensitive to city noise, we have Interior Courtyard facing rooms and we are always happy to help accommodate room requests prior to or during your stay with us! I hope you enjoyed your time in the city and we hope to see you again soon, Caitlin Boyer - Front Office Manager

To start with, we made a boneheaded move when we made our reservation, but the hotel took care of us in spite of that. We loved the character of the place, and the location. We walked from Elliot Bay bookstore, and to Tilikum Cafe. Just there one night, but we'll be back.

Location is good to get to market and restaurants, but some questionable characters that may not make you feel safe. One guy with pants down every day and the park a few feet away felt like some shady deals were going down. So safety may be less than ideal here especially after

Thank you for your feedback, smallbirdNewYork. There is certainly a growing homeless population in Seattle. We do what we can as a small local business and take part in many neighborhood fundraisers and events. We continuously voice our opinions and concerns to the powers that be - it is truly unfortunate that our City Officials continue to show that they are not interested in helping the individuals who need help. While others may feel differently, I have never felt uncomfortable in the neighborhood nor has safety ever been a concern of mine. I hope your time in Seattle was pleasant and thanks for staying with us! Caitlin Boyer - Front Office Manager

Hi, I was noticing in several photos online that there are box fans or standing fans in the rooms. Does the hotel have air conditioning? I have booked a room for 2 nights in August and I will need a room with A/C.
Hi Lee, Thank you for your question! All of our guest rooms have A/C units. This wasn't always the case, but since the summer of 2016, our property has been upgraded to include this feature. Looking forward to your stay in August! Kindly, Kelsey Asplund - Assistant GM

to the hotel owners... hi im trying to book on booking com and included in the price 4 nights is: 15.6 % Tax, US$ 2.00 City tax per night, 2.89 % Municipality fee, 2.4 % Property service charge, can i ask if theres anymore charges at check in and also how much is the accidental room deposit? thanks
Hi Kerry452, Thank you for choosing to stay with us! We try to be as transparent with our rates, taxes, and fees as we can be - so what you see online are all the fees we have! At check-in, we will take a preauthorization on your credit card for the full amount plus 20% for incidentals. This will be released at check-out, but can take your bank 3-7 business days to reflect back to your account. Please feel free to give us a call at the hotel directly if you have any other questions. Looking forward to your stay, Caitlin Boyer - Front Office Manager

Hello, Do you have a specific age requirement for checking in?
Hi cheneyeh! We require that the individual checking in is at least 18 years old (or legally emancipated). I also like to mention to younger travelers that we do require a Credit Card provided at check-in for incidentals, in addition to the cost of the reservation (if it has not been prepaid). If you have further questions, feel free to give us a call at the property! We'd be happy to answer them for you as you're planning your visit to Seattle. Cheers! Kelsey Asplund - Assistant GM

How close are you to the Victoria Clipper ferry, Pier 69?
Hello! As others have mentioned, we're really close. It's about half a mile away (15 minute walk). Coming from Pier 69, you'll go more uphill, and while some folks might feel comfortable walking, depending on the time of day (and weather!) it would be a quick cab or uber ride. I'd say less than $10 on an average day. If you have other questions as you plan your trip, please ask away! Cheers, Kelsey Asplund - AGM

"Inside Room overlooking courtyard I would imagine are quieter."
"Had a room that faced the courtyard; it was quieter than the street-facing rooms."
"Talk to staff for food recommendations"
"Only one elevator... so if you had walking issues or were in a rush, I would advise a lower floor."
"Apparently there is a large fire station near the hotel but I didn't notice any noise so the rooms are quiet."
