We stayed here June 15. This is not your typical B & B - it's far more grandiose than that. It has a Victorian styled interior and the house just seems to put its arms round you and envelope you. It's slightly on the high side in terms of price but this is somehow justified in terms of the room,...

I stayed here for 2 nights with my adult daughter and girlfriend. We enjoyed our respective rooms. Great location-across the street from Volunteer Park which is truly worth seeing (make sure you climb the tower). A few blocks away, there are fun restaurants, bars and even a Walgreens. It was easy to drive into downtown area but if you want...

Our stay at Mildred's Bed & Breakfast was absolutely the best ever. Melody is a very gracious host and most accommodating. Her recommendations for dining and site seeing were terrific. Our room was beautiful, clean and perfect. Don't hesitate to stay at Mildred's when visiting Seattle. My wife and I look forward to visiting again. Thank you so much Melody!...

Other reviewers have been spot on with Melodee's graciousness and the lovely continental breakfast that is more than ample - with delicious "Ballard-ground" coffee. Our room (Lace) was a nice size but overlooks 25th Avenue, which is a rather busy street, so if you are not used to traffic, you will hear a lot of it during the day -...

This old Victorian is situated across the street from Volunteer Park on Capital Hill in Seattle. The location provides easy opportunities for nice walks before you bed down. The beds are comfy and the breakfast is tasty, but simple...fresh fruit and baked goods. The hostess, Melodee, is cheerful and friendly and always willing to share information if you ask. All...

We stayed over the 4th of July weekend, it's a very nice Victorian house, in the heart of Capitol Hill (nice neighborhood). The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good, lots of fresh fruit, home baked stuff. Melodie is a great hostess and a pleasure to talk with, she made us feel like we were at a relatives house...

We (my wife and I) had the pleasure of staying at this Victorian B & B for 4 nights in September, during our visit to Seattle. Melodee (our hostess) was so gracious and professional and a joy to visit with. The accommodation (lace room) was excellent and the breakfasts were all you needed to start your day. We used the...

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this Victorian B&B in the Capitol Hill section of Seattle. Our hostess Melodie was warm and gracious. The Blue Room in which we stayed was nicely decorated, spacious and provided a view of Volunteer Park directly across the street. The breakfast is terrific with a variety of choices including oatmeal, granola, gluten-free creal, fresh...

We found this lovely b&b right down the street from our son's place in Capitol Hill. We stayed in the Rose room on the 3rd floor and had our own private balcony with views of Lake Washington. Melodee was a wonderful hostess and made us feel right at home.

Melodee, the owner of this beautiful b&b, has a great sense of hospitality the breakfast is a great moment! You find everything you'd like to eat on the table. The room we stayed in was really nice, with room enough for the roll away bed for our daughter. The location is in front the park, so in sunny days you...
