This hostel was fantastic - basic rooms, but clean. The bathrooms are all individual toilet + showers so you have more privacy than what I've seen in other U.S. hostels. The staff was awesome, and they have a lot of events that they put on for free within the hostel itself. They also have affiliation with some of the major...

Free Breakfast, free dinners occasionally, lots of tours, movie-night, perfect location next to the pike place, friendly staff, and a unique Queen-size bed dorm. What else do you need? They've got everything you'd love to have, in a cheap price!

It's well organized, cleaned and very friendly. My room windows was on the side of the street so the noise was terrible, everything else was nice. The location it's just perfect, the only little problem is that there is no elevator and lots of stairs!

I had a 2 night stay in this hostel. It was just ok, but nothing special... The room I stayed in had 8 beds. The room was way to small for this amount of beds. You couldn't even have a small backpack or your shoes on the ground next to the bed as this was just a small corridor in...

This is my 3rd stay at The Green Tortoise. I was here alone at 21 and now at 29 with my mom it's a different, but still fantastic experience. The location (directly across from Pike's Place) can not be beat, it's very reasonably priced, free breakfast, GREAT common room. I'm back and I'll be back!

1st off no elevator! Which I didn't see any comments about?! Carrying my luggage was a pain. The rooms are ok, bunk bed is really high up & little awkward climb. The sheet screen are nice for a little privacy. Finding an open bathroom was a bit of challenge because there was so many people to a floor. Location is...

Great hostel in a central location right next to Pike Place Market. We stayed in a 4 bed dorm which was equipped with sturdy, comfortable bunk beds allocated when you check in. The room also had handy storage space under the bed though you do need your own padlock. Curtains around each bunk allowed some privacy. Toilets were cleaned each...

Get staff were really friendly. Location is perfect but hard to find. Personally got lost and ended up down town lol. Hostels are not my thing love my privacy too much, but it was a good experience. Beds are ok. The room had a smell, think is the other girls shoes 😒. Overall it was good. Internet works great in...

This was my first hostel experience and I will say I was pleasantly surprised. Was just looking for a place to sleep after going to the Seahawks game & didn't want to drink and drive back to Canada. Best $40 I could have spent! The hostel is perfectly located downtown right by the Pike Place market. There is an awesome...

A brilliant hostel right by Pikes Market. Rooms are spacious and the bunks are the best ive stayed in (been to a few hostels!) Each had a lamp, fan and a curtain to pull round for privacy. Rooms are cleaned daily and bathroom are big! Big communal area, kitchen, and au smoking room. Staff are friendly and they organise trips...
