Please let Tamara know she made our trip. From fixing our reservation that I messed up over the phone to greeting us and making sure our stay was wonderful. She is a delight. Ellie was also on staff during our stay and was also very kind and thoughtful. The hotel is beautiful and clean. The indoor/outdoor pool is a treat and we even got some sunshine to lounge in Sat afternoon. We look forward to staying here again and enjoying all Seattle has to offer. Easy walking to restaurants, Pike's Market and the Aquarium.
We recently spent three nights at this hotel prior to our cruise. We loved the location on the waterfront. It was also a short walk to Pike Place Market and there were a lot of food options in the nearby vicinity. We booked the room with Bonvoy points so I requested, but did not expect, an upgrade. I was happily surprised when we were upgraded to a partial waterview on the 8th floor. Our room was clean, spacious, and had a balcony (no chairs) with a great view. Our flight was early and the hotel held our luggage while we explored the city. The lobby was always crowded and the front desk appeared busy with people checking in all throughout the day. I have read several reviews stating that phone calls to the front desk went unanswered. I experienced the same issue. I decided to use the “chat” feature in the Bonvoy app and my question was answered almost immediately. I used the chat feature several times and found it very quick and convenient. The “M” club was not in full operation. It was available for snacks, coffee, and canned soda. To compensate, we were given a choice of 750 Bonvoy points or a card for a free breakfast in the restaurant for each night stay. We chose breakfast and were not disappointed. Overall, this is a great hotel for anyone going on a cruise or just wanting to explore the city. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.…
The hotel is ideally located by the waterfront and you get easy access to most of the main attractions in the city. The hotel itself had clean rooms and a well equipped gym. The hotel clearly needs a renovation and the rooms, common areas and the gym are not pretty to look at. If one tale into account the price for the hotel it comes out as an average stay for sure.
Just checked in to our King bed, water view, Corner, large, balcony, high floor room and from the pictures online and the advertised panoramic views I was excited about the splurge of this room category but got a HUGE letdown upon walking in. Maybe if you don’t get room 677 it’s a better experience but walked in to a view of a rooftop. Called nicely to ask to see if we could switch rooms and was told this room has a great view and he’s never heard a complaint and finds it odd that I’m saying it’s an obstructed view of the water and marina. Upon time on the room there is rust and doors to the TV stands don’t totally close, I would normally not Care about this as I understand tons of people visit these rooms and limited time housekeeping and remodels seldom happen in the hotel industry. But on top of the view issue this has been a huge disappointment, and I would recommend looking at other options, or at the very least don’t upgrade to a corner room cause you may not be getting the view you are hoping you paid for. …
Nice clean hotel. Everyone at the reception were very friendly and caring. Especially Tamara and Ellie! The corner room has a spectacular view of the pier. The only thing missing was a long mirror but the reception brought a long standing room mirror up!
Terrific location, however it will be much more convenient once all the construction is done. You have to walk across the street, go upstairs at the convention center and walk across the walkway to get into the downtown area where the Pike Place Fish Market and the bars and shopping are located. The aquarium is very close to the hotel. Got a nice water view room. I generally like Marriotts--nothing exciting, but no unpleasant surprises, you know what you're getting. Rooms, bathrooms, bedding are always solid but not spectacular. Our room had a very strange balcony--1 person can stand on it--literally, 2 people side-by-side could not fit--no chairs, no room for sitting. Let's call it a quirky design feature. Their club lounge is open, but not much to offer, so unless you have kids and want chips and pretzels you should skip it. If you are downtown and want a good view of the water, this would be one of the top hotel choices.…
We stayed here for a quick overnight before catching the ferry to Victoria. We picked this hotel since it was just a few minutes walk to the ferry terminal. They upgraded our room but sadly it was night so we did not get to fully appreciate the water view. But the gesture was appreciated. The rooms have been nicely refurbished and the bed was comfortable. They did not have room service available and the only restaurant that was open for dinner was the lobby bar area and the menu was limited. We would have liked some room service since we got in late but it was ok. Just something to be aware of. Over all I think it was a nice hotel, but somewhat overpriced since they did not have everything opened back up yet from their remodeling.
Came for business travel to attend a conference that was conveniently located right across the street. Check in was easy but had to wait for the room for some time due to the conference.. (understandably) One issue I haddue to my delayed check-in, I was given a room on one of the lower floors (2nd floor) and this was a completely unrenovated block of rooms. Only knew this as I visited a friend’s room on the 5th floor who had a brand new, clean and upgraded modern room. I asked to be given a room on the renovated floors but could only be moved there on my last 2 nights, out of five. Would HIGHLY recommend requesting a room that is renovated. The older rooms are in serious need of help and should not house any guests..
Outstanding hotel with excellent customer service and location. Guest rooms are comfortable and well-supplied work everything you need. Hotel and restaurant staff are friendly and very professional. Location works very well for walking around waterfront, Pike Market, and downtown Seattle. I highly recommend.
No info online but pool is closed for renovations. Should have disclosed on website that there is construction. Otherwise the hotel is fine. Really wish the pool was Open though as was looking forward to it.
