to be clear hotel is nice, clean, and well kept.. however there is one staff member who works mornings-evenings is the hands down rudest person i have ever met, she is inappropriate and vastly oversteps her boundaries. she speaks in a condesending tone and makes false accusations as well as flat out tells lies and gossips about current/ former guests. extremely inappropiate behavior and very off putting and frustrating when spoken to like a child. her confrontation style borders physical as she speaks down to an individual and literally points her finger in the face of the person she atempts to "reprimand" (which is not her job although she states it is" she fails to offer her superiors contact and she harrasses not only the guest but any guests the current occupant may have visit while staying at the hotel. she oversteps her boundary and has a tendancy to stereotype guests in a very rude and insulting way. when speaking to her she flat out told me to shut up when i asked for her superiors information and told me and accused me of smoking in a room which was ridiculous considering she witnessed myself and my boyfriend come outside for smoke breaks. she harrassed my boyfriend everytime he came into he building despite the fact that he had a key and never had any reason for any communication let alone confrontation. on one occasion i heard her telling another guest that he was the worst guest there despite never causing a problem. he tried to ignore her but she would go as far as trying to block the elevator and door upon return because he "he looked like people who were trouble in the past" side note (he is well dressed with an easy going nature, articulate and nonconfrontational however, he is black and extremely conscious of not being one to give validity to the negative stereotypes that sometimes can be associated with young african american males. he grew up in a military home where respect was required and those values show within moments of interacting with him.) she went as far as to tell him he did not belong there. once she was off the clock literally every single staff member made the trip pleasant and comfortable. but the lingering stress of knowing upon waking up this woman would be there to almost certainly insult people and treat the hotel as if it were a 10 dollar a night motel on skid row and go unchecked negates every positive the hotel has to offer. its sad and a waste of what could be the best hotel for miles within the location. i have no clue how she is able to conduct herself with such off putting and unethical behavior totally lacking professionalism. i also work the front desk at a hotel and her conduct is the most disgusting thing i have ever witnessed within the hospitality industry. so much to the degree that i will do whatever i can to warn any person i interact with considering a stay there against it at all costs. until she is removed from her job at that location i would urge any and everyone against staying there in order to be spared a negative, disrespectful, insulting experience that your hard earned money pays for.

Old building. Parking is extremely tight between cars, nerve-rackingly so. Coffee machine in the room is a little, cheap plastic thing. Bathroom very small. Furniture marked and scuffed. Carpet dirty in the staircase, frayed at the room entrance. Don't even bother about the "gym". Old treadmill, bike machine and something else that didn't work in a room with a mattress. What that is all about, I have no idea. Neighborhood is questionable. Restaurants in the area are mostly Asian cuisine. Asian market down the street and Hobby Lobby are fun to visit. Room was clean and adequate. Provided a fridge...check the settings before storing food. Ours was too low to keep food at the right 40* temp, so we turned it up. Knob is in the back of fridge. Microwave supplied although older model. TV is a smart TV with apps and Directv channels. Lots of pillows. Shampoo looked used already as the bottle was only 1/2 filled. I used my own. Staff were friendly. 4th floor. Nice view of Seattle from there. Would I stay here again? Not sure. Nothing so bothersome to say no.

Not a great neighborhood. We left to go out the first night and noticed a couple of working girls. One on the corner and one in the middle of a busy road with a healed bullet wound on her leg. Nice. The beds are comfortable. You have to turn the hot water all the way up for a shower. The walls paper thin. You hear everything. I walked downstairs the first morning for the changing of the shifts to hear 2 employees talking about doing their best to avoid any actual work. The 3rd day we did not tip the maid because linens were not replaced on day 2. After we checked out the manager called and accused us of smoking in the room. We did not smoke in the room. There were 4 or 5 butts in my pocket from being out the night before that I threw in the trash can in the room. Big No No according to the manager. Stunk up the whole room. I think the maid was pissed she didn't get a tip. It was ridiculous. At least she didn't try to charge us.

This is a nice clean Motel located a few miles from downtown. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was very good and there was several choices. I would stay there again when visiting Seattle.

Google maps took me all through the interesting neighborhood behind the hotel and I thought I’d never get there. When I commented on the GPS directions, the front desk clerk said she gets that complaint quite a bit. Efficient checkin and checkout. I was given two queen beds, but I booked a king room. Apparently there were no king beds available which wasn’t a big deal to me. The room was clean and spacious with a small room divider and sofa, as well as a table with two chairs. In addition, there was a microwave and refrigerator. My biggest complaint was the extremely small bathroom where the door almost touched the toilet when you shut it. In addition, the shower head water pressure was extremely poor. Interesting neighborhood, but close to restaurants and shopping. 24 coffee and tea, but limited tea bag choices which happens to be important to me since I drink a lot of tea. Enjoyed the popcorn in the evening. Wifi streamed fair. Nice size TV. Very helpful front desk staff. Parking spots were very small. Small breakfast area. Breakfast had the usual Choice hotel fare which always meets my needs.
