Probably the nicest hosts we've ever met. We felt super welcomed and had a great time during our stay. Good breakfasts with yummy warm dishes, good, clean rooms with a very nice bathroom. We stayed at the Lupine Room where the private bathroom was just...More
I had a fabulous stay in the basement unit at Sunflower! The unit was cute, clean, and cozy. The complimentary breakfast cooked by Larry (including Reindeer Bacon, apparently an Alaskan favorite) was delicious, and gave the guests at Wildflower and Sunflower properties the opportunity to...More
We enjoyed our stay very much. Larry was a great host and full of information. Food was fantastic. Our room was very comfortable and decorated nicely. Enjoyed it very much. A great ending to a great Alaska vacation.
Wildflower is a charming group of properties a few blocks from downtown Anchorage and about fifteen minutes away from the airport. We stayed in a basement room called Sunflower that was brightly painted and lit. It helped us sleep through the sunny arctic nights by...More
What a great way to start our Alaskan adventure! We stayed at this B&B for one night before we moved onto Homer. The space is beautiful, both inside & out. Larry greeted us and gave us a quick tour of the home, including talking about...More

Hi We stayed in July 14 and stayed 1 night then 2 nights then 1 night during an 18 day trip from Kenai to Denali. We stayed in the Wild Iris room in the basement which still has windows and has a shower toilet and spa. Not sure how many rooms in total but there at least 2 upstairs. Larry and Allen are very good hosts and answered my emails promptly. I booked off the internet no problems but I had not realised that they owned another property at the time which I assume is managed just as well. The garden rooms etc are presented very well and immaculately clean. There is a cooked breakfast every day which is varied daily and very good. The property is about a 10min pleasant walk to town which we did each day although we had a car. There is an excellent supermarket across the street, although it does not look very good from the outside. There is off street parking. I don't often stay at B&Bs but I enjoyed this one and would stay again.
