Cozy, quiet, and provides a great amount of space. The kitchen is also very welcome, along with a coffee maker that actually works. However, there was a glove and bouncy ball behind a couch. Other than that it was very clean. Staff was welcoming, breakfast was alright, probably better if you just slept in. That all being said, I would...

Got a suite for a weekend shopping excursion to anchorage. The price was right and the suite was comfy. New flat screen TVs in both rooms. (There was a pullout sofa-bed in the entryway area which closed off to be its own room.) The decor and color scheme was dated...but hey, it was clean, warm, and a fine weekend spot...

We had to book a "last minute" room through a "sister" hotel, so we had no choice really, didn't check any reviews beforehand, so we were pleasantly surprised to have a large comfortable suite at this hotel. It was clean, not modernly decorated, but very comfortable with all the needs you require. No smells in our room (and I am...

Great little hotel in downtown Anchorage, most sights are well within walking distance. The staff was helpful, the rooms were large, the beds were outstanding and the continental breakfast was adequate. This was the 2nd time that we have stayed at this facility and were more than satisfied on both occasions with our selection. however, we were informed that the...

The location is very convenient, just downtown. The room was large and comfortable, although had a slight stale smell. Brakfast was very basic, and since there is no breakfast room we had to take the trays to eat in our room. Really I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. However we had the impression that most of the...

We took the scenic route to Anchorage on the Alaska Railroad and because of that we had to take a cab to the hotel as there is no shuttle from the train station so I thought that would be a bad sign but I was very wrong. It was a nice clean hotel in the middle of downtown Anchorage and...

This place is clean, affordable and well located in central Anchorage. Our room was large and came with a kitchenette and two beds. Staff downstairs are super friendly (esp Zach!). Downside is that the decor is SO dated -its straight from the 1970s...

We chose the hotel because of its location (downtown) and its price (less than $200/night). We were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were miniature suites, with a half-kitchen (small refrigerator, sink & microwave), sofa/bed, dining/work table with two chairs, queen bed, dresser, TV, and a French balcony. Clean & bright. Continental breakfast for those so inclined. Free wifi. The front desk...

We stayed here twice in June 2013, coming and going to other parts of Alaska. Rooms were adequate, clean, and quiet. We enjoyed the time in Anchorage and this place is near enough to walk to meals, etc.

This is now owned by the Captain Cook hotel (and is called the Voyager, not the Rodeway), so the staff at the front desk thought that would lead to some improvements, but that the price would stay below $200 during the summer. I did notice a funny smell in the room when we entered, but after the first day I...
