This beautiful and very peaceful hotel is located close to L'Isle Sur La Sorgue and is a world away from the traffic and hustle of the town. There are many lovely sculptures on the property and the garden has seating around which is perfect for relaxing. The surprise is that it was Pierre Salinger's last home and the family have...

I loved this beautiful hotel outside of Le Thor! Big clean rooms, nice big bathrooms, charming, and full of personality... Poppy is warm and welcoming as is everyone who works there. It feels like a home away from home. And the food is delicious! You must eat dinner with Emmanuel every night you are there. Note that you are biking...

We started & finished our bike trip at La Bastide Rose. We were greeted with open arms by the owner, Poppy Salinger. The grounds are beautiful with a slow flowing river which runs through the property. There is nice swimming pool for hotel guests. The hotel is a great place to go and relax.

This was a wonderful experience. From the staff to the quaint details of every room I would highly recommend. The meals were home cooked and fresh. The 6 acres of ground were also beautiful, pool, private island, and even a museum filled with history.

We have just returned from our annual visit to Provence, at which time we accompany a dozen of our friends to the small towns in this beautiful area in the South of France. My husband and I discovered Poppy Sallinger and her family shortly after their opening and have been returning every year since then. We are so happy to...

My family of 9 persons, including children and grandchildren, were welcomed into Poppy's home at Bastide Rose from June 4 through June 8 and were treated like royalty. Poppy and Marie-Pierre were exceptionally cordial and the accommodations and service were outstanding. Poppy's son, Emmanual, chef extrordinaire, and his staff provided a 3 star dining experience every night; and, provided a...

We found this little romantic hide-away in internet and did not regret to book a few days here! La Bastide Rose is an old mill owned and run by Poppy Salinger and her sun Emmanuel.
