The location is a 5 minute walk from the town centre and quite nice to be away from all the action. The room was large and old world and charming with 2 big windows opening onto the garden. With a pool and established fruit trees, the place offered a great relief and cooling off after the days spent touring or... More

This was in a perfect location in a charming town. The host, Jenny, was extremely helpful and accommodating. It is an old house but very charming and just what we were looking for. Breakfast contained the freshest breads and pastries from the local bakery. However, we were disappointed in the rooms (although they were quite large and quiet). . .the... More

We are a well travelled couple form Australia and chose La Maison Poynder for its central location in L'isle sur la Sorgue and easy access to other areas in Provence. We were delighted by this charming house with large spacious well appointed rooms with all the extras. Breakfast with local fresh fruit and wonderful bread and pastries from a local... More

We picked Maison Poynder and Isle-sur-la-Sorgue as a central spot to tour the general area and it turned out perfect. The place was friendly and accommodating, had all the facilities we expected and needed, and was quite comfortable. The fresh breads from the local baker for breakfast in the morning were particularly nice. The location is excellent - close to... More

Four friends rented La Maison Poynder for a week in June. It was perfect for us. It had a real sense of home about it: relaxed, comfortable, well put together. It's about a 5 minute walk in to L'Isle sur la Sorgue and even less to a wonderful boulangerie with absolutely perfect baguettes. And, it was an easy drive to... More

Thank you for a wonderful stay Jenny! Your home was magical and a fabulous base for 2 families we were able to go out by day and experience the surrounding villages (gorgeous) / markets and come home to a refreshing swim. The pool & garden was a great attraction for our children and the home catered well for two families... More

We stayed at La Maison Poynder in September 2013 for 4 days, during our honeymoon. The house is beautiful, Jenny is a very kind and helpful host, and we really enjoyed the "Flower Room". It exceeded our expectations and was very good value for the rate. There is a nice garden and swimming pool but we didn't use it because... More

Jenny went out of her way to make us feel at home. Five tired cyclists, we were greeted with a bottle of wine and had the run of much of the house and garden to relax the following day. Jenny drove us to the restaurant on the first night, put some of our clothes through a wash cycle and served... More

We stayed with Jenny at the magical La Maison Poynder at the beginning of September and had a lovely time. The house and the garden are beautiful and lovely to relax in. Jenny is the most amazing host. This was more than a home away from home experience for us. We were greeted after a long drive with a cup of tea.
