We stayed in this fabulous hotel for 3 nights and I didn't want to leave. From the moment we arrived (late in the day as we had missed our flight due to motorway accident in UK) to when we left, we were looked after. Frederic is the perfect host. His staff are lovely and caring. Our room was at the...

We visited Isle sur la Sorgue as part of a trip to celebrate our thirtieth wedding anniversary. We chose la Maison sur la Sorgue due to the great reviews on Trip Advisor and it was even better than expected! Frédéric and Marie-Claude are absolutely charming and helpful hosts. Having arrived there after a long hike, we were welcomed with an...

We stayed 2 nights at this marvelous small hotel in the center of town. When we arrived, Frederic was there to greet us and we immediately felt at home. La Maison is so unique with wonderful style and comfortable furnishings, and breakfast in the outdoor courtyard was a perfect start to the day. Great coffee, and a nice selection of...

We spent a night with Frederic and Marie-Claude as the highlight of a month long honeymoon. Stepping into La Maison, one is immediately struck by the sense of curation and style to each space and object (also evident in their small shops attached to the hotel, both worth a visit). We stayed in a room on the top floor, with...

La Maison sur la Sorgue is first and foremost owned by a unique couple, Marie Clause and Frederic whose way of being and taste reflect a deep interest in human creations. La Maison is a beautifully restored building, pronouncing and combining the past and the present. Entering the building is like entering a world of its own and the hosts...

We arrived at La Maison Sur La Sorgue on a Sunday morning the 12th July, when the flea market in the entire town was up and bustling with activity already. Luckily, we had been warned by Frederic the owner of the hotel that it would be impossible to drive in to the hotel till much later in the afternoon given...

My husband and I have just had a few nights at La Maison, while exploring the region. We chose this venue because of the rave reviews we had read on Trip Advisor. The hotel is in a great location, it's very pleasant, beautifully decorated and has a warm feel. The pool was a welcome respite from the heat! However, there...

Regardless of what I write, the only way to experience the hospitality and unique beauty of La Maison sue la Sorgue is to book a stay. It's a gem in the heart of a vibrant little town. The host/owner Frederic was the epitome of hospitality. He was alway available but never intrusive, serving as our host, butler, chef, and concierge....

We stayed picked this place for the unique style, location and pool. All the reviews below are accurate. The owner is lovely and helpful. He picked out some fantastic restaurants. I wanted to mention the few negatives just to provide awareness. If you really want a pool and lounge area this really doesn't fit the bill. Our room was really...

L'Isle Sur La Sorgue is the hidden gem to explore Provence from (probably because few will ever pronounce the name correctly). Gorges, St. Remy, Arles, Avignon are all 20 mins to an hour away and L'Isle itself is very picturesque. The night life is not bad at all with numerous restaurants open until late and numerous places on the waterfront...
