We stayed one night and really liked the hotel. Our room was very nice and spacious and so was the bathroom. Great views from the little patio. Breakfast was delicious and so was dinner. Wifi worked like a charm. The staff is helpful and friendly. Definitely recommended.

Although a hotel often catering to tour buses, I would recommend staying here. On a golf course (apparently played sparsely). Our room had a great view of the mountains and there were two naturally fed hot tubs outside. Nice to use after a long day of hiking. Breakfast buffet was very good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would...

Delightful room with mountain view. Restaurant is superb. Staff is excellent. Hot tub outdoors with compelling view of mountains. Comfortable beds and spacious room. Very quiet at night though I suppose drunken people in the hot tub could be rowdy in certain seasons.

We stayed at Icelandair Hotel Hamar for the first two nights of our Odysseys Unlmited Tour of Iceland. It was delightful. We had a little deck overlooking the golf course and snow topped mountains. Beds were very comfortable, Internet worked fine for us, bathroom was very nice. We had two breakfasts and two dinners there and all meals were above...

We were greeted very nicely by Martin who checked us in to a great room with wonderful views of the golf course and surroundings. The room was very modern and clean with all the amenities. I enjoyed a great meal in the dining room where Maritn was doing double duty at my waiter. He also suggested an Icelandic beer that...

Comfortable beds. Clean and modern. An adequate number of electrical plugs. No rugs on the floors but that was fine. Each room had a door and a little patio outside with chairs. My room looked out onto the parking lot but the other half of the hotel looked out over snow-capped mountains and a lovely golf-course. The bathroom was smallish...

Quiet hotel. 5 minutes drive to Borgarnes. Overlooks the local hills in a very pretty scenic location. Breakfast is OK but nothing special. The WIFI is weird-FI. When it works, it works well. Then it drops out. It can be working on our Mac and not on our IPad or vice versa. Annoying.

All European hotel rooms are small, but all hotels that we experienced in Iceland were clean and very comfortable. Beds softer than I am used to, but loved the duvets on the beds. Staff friendly and courteous.
