The Ritz it is not. Just finished a two nights stay there and was satisfied, especially given the price. Good location so able to walk to Lincoln home and to dinner one night. We were there during the 90+ degree days so did take car to museum. Room Spartan but clean, no bugs. Breakfast covered the basics, toaster waffles and...

We were on a road trip and I was looking to save a little money. I found Mansion View Inn on Booking.com and went with it because of the location and the price. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay in a location that is in close proximity to the capital building and Lincoln attractions and don't...

We booked a suite, thus had 2 rooms, tv and fridge in the non-bed room. Rugs are traditional hotel rugs on concrete surface. The suites face the railroad tracks, so noisy during the day. Only real problem was lighting. The "living room" had only a single light, but a chair and a coach, so no good way for 2 readers...

We stayed just one night, arriving very late. There were some sketchy characters in the parking lot. Beds and furnishings were old. Reminded me of a Motel 6. Ok for just a few hours, but would not stay any longer than absolutely necessary.

This place is very run down. No working lights in room except one by the bed. Room was not cleaned(stayed 2 nights)..no towels...asked front desk why no towels and room was not cleaned....said that they do not put in fresh towels or clean the room. I had trash that needed to be emptied and I needed towels to shower. They...

I stayed in a suite for one night, and was really pleased with the room, customer service, and amenities (continental breakfast & business center). It was very quiet and the room was super clean. Great quality for your buck. For someone looking for a simple and very affordable place with light business needs.

Whatever you do, don't stay here...ever. It's awful. The place is ancient, in dire need of repair and a much-need upgrade upgrade, has mice, clogged sinks, poor lighting and an unhelpful staff. They're there (the staff), but do they really want to be there? I doubt it. Also, they supposedly have a free continental breakfast with rolls and coffee, fresh...

I was traveling for work and ended up staying here for a few weeks. The building has a rustic feel to it and reminds me of, well, a mansion. Haha. The rooms were fairly clean and well maintained. The staff was accommodating and even moved a mini-fridge into my room upon request. Jared -at the front desk- was great for...

Help register friends from California here to see Lincoln sites. Called to check on them next morning. Bedbugs!!! They were given another room. We did not know hey had booked the Mansion View. Had we known, we would have strongly urged them to go elsewhere as we booked a visiting artist there two years ago and she had to move...

We read unfavorable reviews on the Mansion View, but decided to take a chance anyway. It was the best location for us to stay for the Lincoln Memorial funeral re-enactment. We were within walking distance of everything we needed. We had a great King Suite with a whirlpool tub, complete with refrigerator. The room was a little outdated, but clean....
