My friend and I were in Iceland for 5 days and loved every minute of it except for our stay here. We selected this hotel bc it was close to the blue lagoon and we had a night time reservation. We did not want to travel far late at night. We arrived at the Borg guesthouse around 9:45 pm and...

The guesthouse and Bjork are very welcoming and helpful. She helped me find a tour for the next day. She also suggested places to eat and walk. It is very close to the Blue Lagoon and the airport. The self serve breakfast in the full kitchen is very convenient and could save travelers a lot of money if they wanted...

This guesthouse is ideal when you have a day after / before landing/taking off as it is very near to the airport and to the Blue Lagoon. Some great places are to be seen around (sea side is nice, nice cliffs , blue lagoon just 3 minutes drive from it). The guesthouse is clean and the host is welcoming. I'd...

We stayed one night in this sweet guesthouse. The owners were super friendly and helpful. They told us about some great off the beaten road sights including local time and ship wrecks which made for an amazing afternoon. Breakfast was simple and filling for other adventurous day ahead. They even woke us up (we requested this) to see the Aurora's...

This guesthouse only has a few rooms so you feel like you're staying at an airbnb type place (in a good way). The host was very welcoming and the location is great. Highly recommended for a peaceful nights sleep!

Arriving at Keflavik airport on an overnight flight, I didn't want to drive all the way into Reykjavik on little sleep, so I was looking for affordable lodgings near the airport, and the Guesthouse Borg in Grindavik fit the bill. Our hosts were friendly, the place was very clean and quiet. The shared bathrooms are across the hall. The shower...

This is a great place to say if you're going to Blue Lagoon. It's ridiculously close (all of Grindivik is). The owner is very nice (Bjork) and efficiently got us checked in and informed about things do do and eat nearby. Sleepy little town with few people walking around or driving. Minor breakfast available (toast, jam, cereal, milk, coffee). The...
