Lovely hotel with helpful staff. Room was lovely and modern. Plenty of areas to sit in 2 separate lounge areas. Right next to geothermal plant which is very large. No noise and it is lit up beautifully at night but it's not quite the view we were expecting. Food was fresh and of a high quality, but very little choice....

Having just got back from Iceland I wanted to review our hotel. We arrived in the dark and left in the dark but the warmth of the hotel and staff was lovely. We stayed four nights and ate in the restaurant every night. Each meal was beautiful and tasty. The waiting staff were lovely, chatting to us when we encouraged...

This is our second stay (Feb 14) here both times for 4 nights, both stays were the same; 10/10. Hotel immaculate, food great, staff lovely, very friendly & superb English! The little touches make it special; free tea, coffee & biscuits all day. Would love to come back & would definitely recommend to anyone.

We enjoyed our stay very much at the Northern Light Inn. It was a perfect place to see the Northern Lights because it's so dark at night. It's super close to the Blue Lagoon and an easy drive to Reykjavik. We will go back to Iceland and when we do, we will surely book here again. Two thumbs up!

Great small hotel near (and I mean near) the Blue Lagoon. Free airport transfer, easy check-in, wonderful service, free shuttle service to the lagoon, big stone fireplace with comfy leather sofas. Rooms are Nordic in style (think ikea) but comfortable and well designed.

This is a fantastic hotel. The location, the friendly and warm welcome and the spacious comfortable rooms, all are excellent. We picked picked up our towels and headed to the Blue Lagoon. There is a Observatory, which is perfect to see the Northern Lights. The evening meal at the restaurant was most enjoyable, the best we had in Iceland. Breakfast...

Notwithstanding the location, which is the best for the Blue Lagoon and Northern lights, we would pick this hotel over many in Reykjavik. Great service, spotless rooms, friendly staff. Would highly recommend this hotel.
