Fly ridden, in the middle of nowhere, ridiculously expensive meal since there are no alternatives available. Horse meat is commonly served in Iceland. If you think live horses attract flies, you should check out the buffet breakfast. One night - and you'll survive.
Rooms were nice but slightly small, restaurant had a limited but good menu (including horse). VERY remote (20+ minutes from the nearest town). Staff was friendly and helpful. View was fantastic of a fjord.

We loved the wooden cabins with individual balconies where we enjoyed a glass of wine before going over to the on site restaurant for dinner. Dinner was great ,but expensive, as are most things in Iceland. Very friendly staff and our bedroom was a good...More
