We stopped in just to see the interior, and it was gorgeous. Walk around and see as much of the property as you can. All of it is so beautiful. Grand is a great way to describe it. It is well worth a stop for teatime or brunch. Look for the alligators inside and out. Travelationship.com

There are hotels that fall back on there name, like the Saint Regis in DC and the service is OK. Not the Jefferson from the time you pull up in front of the hotel to the minute that you leave everything is great. Last night we came back from the opera late and did not have dinner yet, we went... My husband and I booked The Jefferson for a 2 night stay to celebrate our anniversary, I had had a few meals and meetings here, but hadn't ever stayed and we wanted a quick getaway. The lobby is beautiful, and the decor is historic and grand, but our room and the rest of the hotel were a disappointment. I travel... More

This hotel is oozing with character and history. The staff was very professional, the dinner and breakfast excellent along with the service. My wife and I will definitely be coming back the next time we're in Richmond.

Hands down the best brunch I've ever had. I've eaten brunches at the top of the top around the world, from Hawaii to France, Crystal Cruises to New York. This was the best. The array of food is unmatched. All of it is totally fresh. The location is phenomenal in the rotunda of this historic hotel. Service was great. Just... More

The Jefferson is an elegant hotel. Our room was very spacious, comfortable, clean with a classic decor. Staff was very courteous and professional, a swell as efficient. We had a late snack and cocktails at Tjs, tasty and enjoyable, we sat by the windows with a view of the street. We enjoyed our experience and would stay there again.

I frequent Richmond at least six times a year and wish I had stayed at The Jefferson sooner. The rooms are huge with giant bathrooms and tubs - separate shower - all the amenities. We splurged for our anniversary and stayed two days at the Jefferson. We were impressed with the total service, from the bellmen, to the concierge, to the wait staff. Beautifully appointed room with a most comfortable bed (now that's unusual!). The food and service at the Lemaire restaurant was outstanding; we loved making our own manhattans. Beautiful stained glass and... More
