I rented a parlor room for Parent's Weekend at VCU. The room was very large and clean. It would be easy for this property to take it to the next level, as some amenities were lacking, such as robes, stemware and corkscrew in the room, makeup mirror. Had to ask for additional towels as only two bath towels (one each)...

We came to stay at this lovely historic inn because on a wedding we were attending in Richmond, Va. The five buildings that make up this inn are very old, well maintained and just quirky enough for everyone to enjoy. We all joked that the place was probably haunted but none of us were lucky enough to see a ghost....

Recently we attended a wedding at the Linden Row Inn, which is comprised of a group of beautifully restored row houses in a historic area of Downtown Richmond, with a past link to the Author, Edgar Allan Poe. The Wedding menu was provided by A Sharper Palate Catering, Richmond, (very tasty) & the Wedding desserts were Sugar Shack Donuts (delicious)....

After a long day in the rain exploring the historic past of the Petersburg battlefield my husband and I looked forward to our 1st stay in Richmond at The Lindon Row...we were about an hour early for our check-in and our room wasn't ready but the very kind helpful, kind and happy front desk woman offered to keep our bags...

Attended a wedding at the Linden Inn. A charming location. An unique and special place, the Inn was packed with people. However, checkin was confused and erratic. Never did the front desk attendants even tell us that breakfast was included (which it was), the rooms were not cleaned very well during our stay, adjoining rooms were left open, we had...

Linden Row Inn is an historic treasure. If you enjoy beautifully preserved and restored buildings, then you will love spending a night at this inn. The inn teems with history of the City of Richmond and a well-known poet named Edgar Allen Poe. My husband and I stayed in the Charles Ellis Parlor room that seemed to transport us back...

We were a little anxious we booked our stay at the "Linden Row Inn" in Richmond, VA. Mostly because parking wasn't provided except for "Valet Parking" for $18 a day. Street parking was available but you had to dodge the ticket writers. It turned out that parking on the street was no problem for us. Our room was very big...

My daughter and I stayed here one night while visiting VCU. I picked this hotel solely because of its proximity to VCU, and its reasonable price which included breakfast. We arrived around 8PM on a Friday. The lady behind the desk was VERY friendly and quickly got us to our room (with a REAL KEY!!). The room, in the main...

While they had no control over the weather, I felt the staff was lacking in the proprietary attitude that I have experienced at other hotels. Bulbs in the dining area were not replaced until notified by guests. Staff would disappear in the kitchen instead of clearing tables for more guests to eat. TV and internet were lacking.

Notwithstanding the initial threat of a hurricane our friends' wedding went off without a hitch. A huge tent (rented elsewhere) was erected over the courtyard which is the ceremony & reception site. The rain came & went but spirits were not dampened. Indoors there are lovely common areas for small groups to gather but the real venue is outdoors. There...
