My sister and I just returned from Italy and our stay in Tuscany was spent at Lupaia~what a gem! We loved it's uniqueness, we stayed in Turco and I highly recommend this particular room because of the beautiful room with its Turkish bath (heaven) and its amazing views. The staff, especially Christine, were very helpful and gracious. Our first night...

The hotel room was as beautiful as it was made out to be. We stayed in the Bassa room. It had a lovely patio/ garden in the back. The food was excellent. Only downside - the approach is a 2 -3 km dirt track off the main road. Rough on wheels, be careful at night.

I have been traveling to Italy for decades, and have traveled extensively throughout the country. On each trip I have carved out a week for Tuscany and either rented a villa or stayed in a B&B. On more than one occasion I have stayed within a mile or two of the Hotelito Lupaia and did not know it existed. This...

We loved everything about our experience. The location is actually 5+ miles from Montelpulciano - you absolutely need a car. The property is in a stunning rural location, with postcard views of Tuscany and Montepulciano. The absolute highlight was the gracious, friendly and thoughtful staff. They picked up on our tastes and adapted the menu to it. The food is...

We stayed 4 nights, availing the 10% discount, as published on their website. There was some back & forth with our dates, as we tried to plan our time in Italy. Lupaia was most prompt, gracious & accommodating, when we communicated via several emails. We did get frightfully lost getting to the Hotel, inspite of printing their detailed instructions, taking...

I have stayed in many facilities all over the world, but few match my experience at Hotelito Lupaia. Two things make this location superb - ambiance and service. If you want a relaxing holiday, in the Tuscan sun, close to but separate from any town or city then this is the place for you! Lupaia sits on a hill in...

I don't usually review holiday accommodation but we have just returned from our honeymoon in Tuscany and Lupaia played a big part in making it a perfect holiday. It is a magical place in a wonderful setting. Each and every corner is filled with beautiful furniture and fabrics, lighting and colour. Hundreds of different plants, fruits & flowers around the...

We were blown away with the website of this place so decided to book for a special break as it was very expensive. However the reality of it was quite different. Opulent almost theatrical in some areas of the hotel but our room was very shabby and beyond rustic. The owners had lots of cats and they were sitting on...

What can I say about the most enchanting part of our 2 week jaunt in Italy...Hotel Lupaia made it on Conde Nasts list for a reason. After following their explicit directions (Google maps or navigation systems will not get you here- download their pdf map off of the website) we were led down a winding dirt road in the middle...

There are no words or pictures that can capture the essence of Lupaia. There is no need to look anywhere else for your true Tuscan experience. This is it...............I mean it............don't look any further! From the minute you make the turn onto the road, past the tall cypress trees taking you to Lupaia, you are transported to a magical place...
