Montefalco is a lovely hill town with steep streets, enchanting lanes full of the smell of jasmine, colourful windowboxes and brimming planters. It is conveniently placed for exploring Umbria. Edyta, who met us in the main piazza, was very helpful. She led us to the apartment, and showed us the convenient parking. We ate outside in the garden much of...

We stayed here for only four nights at the beginning of May,but would have loved our visit to have been longer. It is a tastefully restored house divided into three apartments each quite independent of the other but with a shared garden.Situated very close to the main square in Montefalco with parkingspace close by ,this comfortable, spacious house was a perfect...

I have just spent a wonderful two weeks "girls only" getaway in Italy. One week was spent in Montefalco staying in the Benozzo apartment (one of three in the property). The Benozzo apartment is large, very comfortable, well maintained and clean. The kitchen was fully equipped, although no dish washer, and we had the choice of inside or outside dining....

We stayed in Benozzo; a spacious well-appointed apartment with garden and pool (shared with 2 other apartments) . Montefalco is an interesting place with a few good restaurants and things to see nearby.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
L'Arco Romanico is a charming medieval structure located in Montefalco's historical centre. The complex is made up by three apartments - Benozzo, Perugino and Melanzio - which together form a lovely hamlet that borders the gardens between the ancient Palazzo Langeli in the square, and Via Tempestivi which takes its name from the adjacent Renaissance palazzo. Its convenient location, within the city walls of Montefalco, allows visitors to experience both the historic and artistic atmosphere that characterises the site with ample views of the valley below. L'Arco Romanico MontefalcoFrom the peacefulness of the town, which is also known as the "Balcony of Umbria", to the splendid tours of cities such as Perugia, Assisi, Foligno, Bevagna, Spello, Trevi and Spoleto, L'Arco Romanico offers visitors the chance to be in the historical centre of Montefalco and, at the same time, a pleasant place to stay while exploring the surrounding area. From a lot of years Umbria is also well known for its high level of enogastronomia's products, for the "slow-food" way of life, for its expecially wine Sagrantino and, in Montefalco, for its "Agosto Montefalchese". ... more   less

“The other apartments are larger. Their kitchens are arranged along one wall and are better planned. Benozzo is the apartment to book for two couples. The Perugino apartment would suit a couple with small children. You must walk through one bedroom to reach the next. The beds in the children's room are very small. There are quite a few steps involved to reach both of these apartments, but inside they have fewer stairs than Melanzio.”
