Located no more than 50 meters from one of the main entrances to the town of Montefalco, Oro Rosso was a perfect location for our quick trip to Umbria. The hotel is run by a married couple who were polite and friendly, and breakfast was included in the cost of the reservation. Our room had a bathtub as well as...

Clean, modern, comfortable and romantic, this little jewel is located just inside one of the old gates, about 100m from the central Piazza del Comune. While there is no parking on site, there is abundant free parking about 300m away, easy to get to after you have registered and left your luggage. There is no elevator. Staff is friendly and...

We stayed one night in September as part of a self-guided walk - it was the most welcoming stay in the three weeks in Italy. The room was nicely appointed and comfortable, large bed, good pillows. The meal we had at the restaurant was SUPERB. Still thinking about the tortelli stuffed with lemon and ricotta in a lemon-butter sauce (appetizer)...

We chose this excellent hotel based on prior recommendations, helpful communications with the owners, and, of course, its close proximity to the great wines of Montefalco. The annual wine festival - Enologica 34 - turned out to be right across the street...as we had hoped when we booked. As as bonus, the hotel turned out to be a gateway to...

After spending a few days in Rome, this hotel was a peaceful retreat! I asked my husband for one word and he said, "perfect!". The room was very clean and beautifully appointed. The restaurant was gourmet and charming. Great wine recommendations! A must stay.

We only stopped here to have lunch during a wander round the attractive city of Montefalco. We only wanted a light meal and they offered a set menu that just fitted the bill. With salami, prosciutto and tasty bread and slices of some wonderful savoury tarts. As you would expect the wine was also good and prices quite normal for...

Perfectly situated in the Main Street, just minutes away from the town piazza. Very warm welcome from the friendly owners of the hotel. The room was very nice - newly refurbished - excellent bathroom. Breakfast was in the hotel restaurant where both lunch and dinner were served. We had the lunch and it was very nice. We will stay here...

The location is very good for travel to many near by hill towns. The staff if helpful, the rooms are perfectly clean and newly remodeled. Free WIFI. The restaurant is good and offers Sangratino wine at reasonable restaurant prices. The waitress is Emanuela and she is very nice and very friendly and makes the visit and meal even more enjoyable....
