Although I only stayed here for one night at the end of a challenging mountaineering expedition, I can say I've thoroughly enjoyed my time at Chalet du Lys. The spa is very relaxing and well equipped, the staff very friendly and quite fluent in English. Everybody seemed to take their time for the customers, answering their questions. I was allowed...

At arrival we didn't get the rooms we had booked (2 connecting with one bathroom) because they so called "upgraded" us to two larger separate rooms. (not at all handy with kids) Reception very slow with only one person who often is on phone in office. Location not nice with huge parking lot in front and even cars parking right...

This is a lovely hotel, ideally situated for the lifts. Very helpful staff who were eager to please. No complaints at all had a fabulous holiday. Room was not overly large, but was nicely decorated and the bed was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was modern, had a good hot shower and came complete with bidet. Food was great,...

Had never heard of Gressoney before, but the choice of intermediate slopes and off piste options appealed. NB - it's a lousy resort for beginners, but the mountain restaurants are great: groups of mixed abilities could meet up for lunch. As everyone says, the hotel is very convenient for the lifts at the beginning and end of the day. Bathrooms...

Staff is great and very attentive and helpful(especially in bar and resto). Spa is great and we went every day. Dinner is also very good I have to say, you get 2-3 choices to each meal with a vast buffet for starters. You wont go hungry!

Very warm and welcoming hotel, traditional rooms were generously sized with modern bathrooms. The breakfast was hot and cold with fresh baked croissants every morning-delicious! Evening meal was a very extravagant traditional Italian feast (1st and last nights 7 courses) starting with a self serve table full of every salad imaginable, cooked meats and cheese together with capacio beef, salmon...

Great place, just next to the ski lifts (3 minutes walking), and you can ski right in to the ski locker room. Very friendly for kids. Small but luxury spa, massage was good but fully booked after 2 days so book quickly, kids are allowed in the pool 1 hour a day (after skiing). We stayed in the chalets (great...

Probably the most important feature of the hotel "Chalet de Lys" is its location at walking distance from two large ski-lifts. These lifts, the Stafal-(often written as Staffal) Sant'Anna single large cabin lift and the Stafal-Gabiet cabins lift bring you directly into the vast ski area, south of Monte Rosa. The hotel itself is charming, a little bit old-fashioned but...

This hotel has excellent facilities and friendly staff. The spa is lovely especially after a hard day skiing although we didn't test the treatments. The food is plentiful and tasty with lots of choice. The rooms comfortable and clean although some are cosy in size. The ski and boot room is heated and secure. Gordons bar has a good atmosphere...

We stayed there for one week and it is perfect for skiing, randonnee and relaxing. Village is very small and there is not much to do otherwise. There is a bus connection to other villages though and for skiing (ski-in-ski-out) it is really perfect. Chalet itself is beautiful and offered good accommodation. It has a nice spa and a good...
