I would certainly go for the one bed. I may be wrong but I don't think the studios have full cooking facilities. I would also ask to be at the front of the hotel although the views are not so good. We were in 209 last year fab unit with twin balconies overlooking the street at the front of the hotel. It's a cul-de-sac and very quiet. Also very sheltered. This year we are in 301 at the rear and it is a lot noisier with traffic starting to move around by about 6.30am. We love most things about the Maltese except their obsessional use of the horn at all times of day and night! This apartment has sea views and one small balcony but it is very windy. One thing we have noticed is that Bugibba is a lot windier than Qawra.
