My husband and I did not know what to expect as we drove up the mountain roads manoeuvering the hair pin bends whilst trying to take in the awesome views of Andalucia. On our arrival, we were met by Jane and Mark who are the loveliest and most welcoming patrons. The casa we stayed in for a week was tastfully...

We really enjoyed our trip to Las Nuevas. Nestled in the hills behind Malaga, it only took 40 minutes to get to from the airport (thanks to the excellent instructions!) but felt a world away. The pool was gorgeous, set in a great sun trap overlooking the mountains. The hospitality was fantastic. Overall it was one of the best, most...

You would never believe you were only 45 minutes from a main airport. This place is just absolutely magical, tranquil, relaxing, beautiful. A wonderfully quiet place in the middle of archetypal stunning spanish hills, clad with olive and almond trees. A hire car is a must if you want to get around. The drive to the lakes was amazing, the...

Las Nuevas is a beautiful, rustic property situated in the mountains about 45 minutes from Malaga airport. You feel completely isolated but are only a short drive away from Malaga, Alora, El Chorro and the Ardales Lakes, that is if you actually want to leave Las Nuevas once you're there. You MUST have a car and be confident enough to...

My partner and i found Las Nuevas by chance on owners direct, when looking for a selfcatering holiday in spain and good a good value price for a week. The directions we were given were really good, and it only took about 45 mins to malaga airport. Feeling frazzled from our daily work lives, from the moment we arrived we...

Such a great place to go - high on the hills of Andalucia but only 45 minutes from Malaga airport this is a real gem. We have just spent and very enjoyable 18 days here and I cannot recommend it enough. The entire venture is well planned and presented beautifully by the owners, Jane and Mark. They have rebuilt/restored an...

What a lovely place. You'll definately need a hire car to get there and some courage to brave the windy hill roads and dirt tracks - but its definately worth it. Mark and Jane, the owners, have lovingly refurbished a beautiful farmhouse into a complex of varying sized, spacious houses. Our 'house' was clean, uncluttered, well equiped, with a huge...
