Tired of the typical New England B&B? The four poster bed, the lacy curtains, the heavy duty Victorian decor all round? Then the Woodstocker is for you. This was our second visit and we were greeted by David and Dora like old pals. Stimulating conversation after breakfast and into the morning on a chilly, rainy day. The Inn itself? Vibrant...

Many thanks for a superb 2 nights. Our room was cosy and spotless (thanks David) and the breakfasts were the best we had in our 2 week tour of New England. David and Dora made us feel most welcome and were very helpful in route planning, where to eat and sightseeing suggestions. We would certainly recommend the Woodstocker Inn. PS....

My husband and I arrived at this brightly painted traditional New England building and were immediately warmly greeted by Dora. She showed us around and It was obvious that she and her partner David, take huge pride in the Inn and great pleasure in hosting people. Our room was large, spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed and luxurious robes. The...

We spent a most enjoyable few days in the Woodstocker Inn in September this year. The inn is well situated for exploring Woodstock and the beautiful surrounding countryside, and is within walking distance of restaurants for evening dining. It is stylish and comfortable, and our hosts were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was delicious with particularly good sausages! We would definitely...

We stayed at the Woodstocker for 3 nights and from the outset it was obvious that this is no run of the mill B&B. As we booked in I mentioned a problem with the interior lights in our Avis SUV only to have David seize the keys from my hand and set about solving the problem - to my great...

Definitely will come back if we travel to woodstock! We had a great stay! We stayed in two rooms for three nights. This inn is not like B and B where you tend to have more vintage style furniture and decorations. It has more rooms than typical B and B, so make sure you are good with a bit more...

My friend and I had a really nice stay at the Woodstocker Inn! Dora and David were fantastic hosts and their inn is beautiful and well-maintained. We needed to arrange for an early check-in and thankfully they were able to accommodate us. The highlight of our stay was the traditional English breakfast—because of both the food and the good conversation...

The Woodstocker Inn is owned by British ex-pats David and Dora, with their hypo-allergenic dog Daisy. Their welcome is second to none: staying at the Woodstocker feels more like being a house guest than a paying guest. Breakfasts at the Inn are superb, with British goods, wonderful smoked salmon, porridge with a shot of whisky and real tea. We had...

Dora and David were taper felt hosts, helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Service is really important to them and it shows. Our room was lovely, comfortable bed and so clean and welcoming. The house is quirky with interesting things abounding. Guests can sit in the library and there is tea, coffee and homemade fruit cake available all the time. Breakfast...
