The village was beautiful with a mountainous backdrop and the local people and food were lovely. A picturesque place with a lovely spacious apartment couldn't have been more appropriate. The swimming pool was close by which made visits easy and regular, the relaxing atmosphere meant it was easy to fall asleep. When we first arrived the welcome package that included...

Self catering holiday for a family of 4 (kids 12 & 14). We were placed in a near by 3 bed house with a small pool and not in the main complex. The accommodation was clean, quaint and well equipped (although no cooker or kettle, but we managed fine with a hob and a microwave). The only down side of...

We spent a week at our house in casas de montejaque. The houses are situated around the beautiful pool. It's like a fairytale. When you lie by the pool you see the rocks and mountains rising behind the houses. The pool is beautiful and clean. The houses are in the center of the small town. A cute bakery, restaurants, bars...

we have recently been the stay in Montehaque - and we loved it! our 5 and 7 year olds were well catered for and the rooms and reception were wonderful. Service was wonderful, we had 10 days here and really enjoyed them all... Lovely town, Spanish and unspoilt. Some great walking destinations.

went with InnTravel who were efficient and well-organised - accommodation was simple but very clean and comfortable, a substantial food and drink welcome pack was supplied - great not to have to go shopping the minute we arrived and the pool was spacious and clean - private patio, lots of sun loungers and shaded areas. Bit concerned originally that there...

This is a place to go to if you love a quiet village with friendly locals and few tourists. It is ideal for gentle walks in splendid scenery surrounded by flowers and birds. Its fascinating to watch griffon vulture soaring above the village from your own roof terrace. Don't go there if you hate dogs (there are lots), if you...

...we were not in the actual Casas but two blocks away since the Casas were fully booked. This was a bit disappointing if you were expecting to be in the location of the nice photographs on the website and brochures. However, only parents with small kids at the main location (so if you do not like small kids running around,...

for a walking holiday in the mountains. We have just returned from a week at Montejaque and we loved it - the 'cottage' was clean and attractive in the traditional style and the small complex was extremely well run. It's location allowed us easy access to spectacular mountain walking and one of the walks was straight out of the village....

2 weeks of holiday with excellent guidance from Isabel, nice casa with roof balcony. All available that is needed to have a worry free and relaxing holiday. Ronda is around the corner but Sevilla and Granada are also easily within reach. For the pool it was a bit early but reading at poolside is enjoying the great atmosphere. Lovely place!

We spent 9 nights in Montejaque, the last 6 of which were during their annual cultural festival. We had a wonderful time and loved visiting all of the surrounding towns and cities (including Seville). We stayed in Mi Joya which is not part of the main complex but is only a 3 minute walk away. Reception was closed when we...
