We had a wonderful stay with Polly and Stuart. The perfect hosts in a beautiful home and an awesome setting. So much attention to detail and quality! The meals they prepared were amazing and it was so kind of them to give up their lounge so that we could watch England vs Wales in the Rugby World Cup (although the...

There are not many B & B's you would go back to ...... we have been here 6 times!! Why.... because it's so perfect. It's a place where the silence speaks, it nestles in a beautiful mountain range, where a railway track meanders ... looking like a perfect model train set. The setting is surreal just for starters. How lucky...

Such a wonderful B&B in a beautiful area of Andalusia. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Polly and Stuart made us feel so welcome. We arranged a dinner our first night, having flown overnight from Canada. I would strongly recommend this, before you get your bearings of the area. The food was excellent and Polly was a superb cook our...

We spent a week at this lovely B&B. It was so peaceful and relaxing with magnificent views. Polly and Stuart made us very welcome. Cooked breakfast every morning set us up for the day, Polly also provides evening meals which were delicious. The pool bar was kept well stocked with wine, beer, cold water and some nibbles, all reasonably priced....

Another visit and yet another perfect stay. You think this place cannot get any more beautiful but Polly and Stuart never stand still - they are constantly improving the property or the grounds so everything is picture perfect. Finca El Abuelo is certainly testament to Stuart's building and refurbishing skills and Polly's design flair. Fantastic cooking and hosting, breath taking...

We stayed with Polly and Stuart in September 2010 for 4 nights. We had been travelling for awhile and were after a very homely place and we got it. Polly puts such an effort into everything at the B&B - breakfast is amazing, all her recommendations and guides, dinner (the best food we had in Spain), the bar next to...

A year or so before we eventually stayed at Finca El Abuelo my wife and I took the scenic train journey from Algeciras to Ronda. We thought "wouldn't it be exciting to stay up in the mountains some time and to travel into Ronda by train, leaving the car behind." Finca El Abuelo is situated to the south of Ronda...

We spent 2 nights and had a fantastic time. Polly and Stuart were amazing hosts and have done an excellent job at renovating their home. The food provided was some of the best (if not THE best) we sampled in Spain. Andalucias best kept secret!
