We enjoyed out two days here using La Freixera as a base for hiking around the town and also going up into the Pyrenees. The hotel is very nice and benefits from the history which oozes out of the stones. We liked the friendly and helpful staff, the breakfast which featured local cheeses, sausages and marmaladas. Also, we loved the... More

My wife and I stayed here last night on the way to France from Barcelona. It is in a fourteenth century building in old town Solsona, which has been brought up to the second with the best materials, technology and architectural talent. Very comfortable, low key atmosphere, modern feel with 600 year old stone and architecture all around us. The... More

We stayed for one night and were very impressed. The hotel is in the perfect location and the Anna who we had contact with was outstanding in every way. The room was very large and the whole hotel is spotlessly clean. It dates back to the 13th century but the rooms are still modern. I could write all day here... More

We stayed here for one night with 4 friends during our motorbike trip through Spain. Very friendly and helpful staff, nicely decorated spacious rooms. Also good breakfast with local products. This hotel is situated in a very nice area for a motorbike tour.

From the moment we arrived on our cycles Anna couldn't do enough to make us welcome. Within minutes we had a cup of real English tea thrust in front of us - perfect after a day's hard cycling! The bedroom, bathroom, the bed, in fact everything was perfect. Anna was so helpful, she is a gem! Without us asking she... More

The hotel is truly beautiful, tucked away in the centre of Solsona. The rooms are lovely, immaculate, spacious, and the facilities are super. The owner was very kind and couldn't do enough for you. Totally worth the money.

Stayed here as a base for exploring this interesting part of Catalonia. We enjoyed our stay. Unlike other small hotels we have stayed in in Spain, this one had a real character and personal touch - with the staff being really friendly. Room and breakfast were great too.
