A small friendly hotel just of the plaza, so parking is off site - which was not a problem in this small town. A continental breakfast is included in the price. The rooms are clean and quiet. I would happily recommend this hotel for a short stay. The town it self is very nice and surrounded by history.

We were here for a wedding, lots of people from all over the world. The hotel handled us well, with charm and humour. It is a simple place but perfectly adequate. Rooms spare but functional. The staff is an absolute delight. The breakfast ample. Also ideally located to explore Besalu, which is a delightful medieval town.

This is a fairly small but charming hotel fitting the overall style of the town. The rooms are clean and the nights quiet. Breakfast is available as well but it is not great. There is free parking available within a few minutes walking distance.

A small and nice hotel in the heart of one of the nicest towns we ever visited. Relaxing atmosphere, good service, delicious and varied breakfast, and all you need to have a comfortable rest after a long walk in Besalú. Ideal for pairs or couples.

It's a a small 12 room hotel with a bar-restaurant for breakfast--bonus: the lovely girl who looks after you for breakfast is a doll. Not a big hot breakfast by North American standards, but lots to choose from, you will be well fed before you head out sightseeing the lovely town. BUT: DON'T GO TO BESALU ON A THURSDAY, EVERYTHING...

.Stayed for one night beginning of September The room was small but cosy and the location very convenient . Nice breakfast. If you arrive with a car it"s a little bit complicated but there is a big free parking not far from the hotel

Stayed here for two nights in a triple with our son, and it couldn't have been lovelier. Marisa is friendly and helpful, the breakfast generous and included, and the location right off the main square of the old town perfect. The rooms are on the cozy side, but everything is clean and renovated and tasteful. Besalu is a jewel, too....

Nice charming hotel close to the town square. Clean room and bathroom. Friendly staff. Poor breakfast when you are used to big hotel buffets. Quiet most of the time except for other guest that slam there doors (but you have that in every hotel)

Marisa (our concierge) was wonderful, rooms are quaint and clean (corner room 101 had fun street views). Mattresses a little hard but that's been our experience in Europe anyway. Nice amenities (bath stuff).

Had a lovely visit to Besalu. It was our first time there and we would definitely go back! The hotel was so quiet we actually thought we were the only people staying there! It was small but we had all the amenities we needed. Breakfast had fantastic croissants and of course, great coffee.
