Because Restaurant La Rebotica was shut when we arrived on their doorstep, despite my having phoned a week earlier to reserve, we waited 15 minutes then walked up the hill to Restautant Huerta Honda. This episode was a repeat of our last attempt to eat at Rebotica, last year: slovenly, unprofessional staff/owners. In contrast, we had a pleasant, speedy welcome...

I found myself staying here on business for two nights. No fault of the hotel but I arrived during a fiesta and it was noisy and difficult to communicate with reception since nobody spoke any English. My room, overlooking the pool, was reasonably quiet considering the fiesta and well appointed . Pity about the ridiculous archaic 'hair dryer'. A hotel...

Well located, great rooms and nice restaurant in a 600 year building. What it lacks is a coffee machine in the room. Views are excellent, it overlooks the palace. Highly recommended. Also an hour away Seville. The town has a nice town centre with a buzzing evening life.

We only stayed for one night on our way back to the north. We had a room with a view to the castle which was excellent. Bathroom was comfortable with walk in shower, towels were extra large and thick - that makes the difference for me! We had the three course dinner downstairs: a good deal too. Parking was secure...

Excellent hotel. Back one year after last visit, now the wifi is ok. Wrote a review last year stating that the hotel was excellent but the wifi was poor. Stayed again this year and the wifi was now ok. Breakfast also good.

I am sure this hotel has seen better days. We arrived and had the choice of the Parador for Euro 110 or Hurtta Honda for euro 92 plus 4 Euro parking including Breakfast. We chose rustic room which looked quaint, bad mistake. The bed was as hard as a slab of cement. Every time you moved it creaked and moaned....

My husband & I used Zafra as a stopover on our way out of Portugal driving to Marbella, Spain. Our room was very beautiful & very Authentic Spanish design. No window view & old television with no English stations but who needs TV? Language barrier here but used IPhone Talking Translater. Felt closer to actual Spanish customs & bar tender...

This was a great find. The hotel was authentically Spanish. It was quaint and had had lots of character. You need to use the pool and the rooftop terrace. So quiet and relaxing. The rooms are very modern compared to the rest of the hotel. They are clean and very comfortable. The balconies look onto the quaint courtyard and a...

I stayed here on Sunday night as a pit stop from a long drive South to North. I didn't arrive until 1am but the night porter soon answered the door and checked us in. He was expecting us so had the keys ready for the room and I left my ID overnight for him to process. The surroundings are really...

I always enjoy staying in the Huerta Honda. It is comfortable, quiet and the staff are friendly and accommodating. I usually choose the superior rooms which are rustic in appearance and the four poster bed is very romantic, ideal for a couple. Rooms have their own AC/Heating The bathroom is enormous and the water pressure is fierce.
