excellent food and service loved the pool complex and the situation is close to our apartment Jasmine on La Sella so this is very handy for visitors to visit the spa and services or just the restaurant
Beautiful hotel in a green, lush mountainous environment. It has one of the best pool areas I’ve experienced in a while, plenty of sun loungers even in August peak season. Well equipped and uncrowded gym too and it’s easy to book to play 9 or 18 holes on the beautiful and quite challenging golf course. It was about €38 Euros for 9 holes and we paid €20 for a buggy. Amazing buffet breakfast and the quality of food and service in the main restaurant in the evening was outstanding. I have to say that the hotel’s staff from the front desk to the cleaning staff were very helpful, friendly and could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable- they have a great team at the Marriott. The hotel is about a 15 minute drive from Denia or Javea where there are good restaurants in the towns or at the beaches (we liked the restaurants at Denia’s port/marina - Mr Fisher is wonderful). Definitely a good idea to rent a car (we picked one up from Record Go near Valencia’s station). Overall, the Marriott is a perfect choice for a family holiday in a beautiful and unspoilt part of Spain.…
This hotel is amazing! We return again and again as the hotel is in a stunning location but also has the most wonderful staff. The hotel is superbly run by general manager Jerome Gateau. Under his leadership you can tell all the staff enjoy working there and this is reflected in their outstanding customer service. Breakfast - such an array of offerings including the egg/ pancake station manned by the wonderful Nadia who greeted us warmly every morning. Nancy makes the start to our day special with her warm welcome and smile, and humour. Begona - was again always welcoming. She actually went out of her way to help us during our visit as we wanted to watch some coverage of our Queen’s death (as we couldn’t watch it in our room due to a business meeting that my husband had). She arranged for a TV just off reception for us to watch which was so good of her and we really appreciated the over and above service she offered. Pool - Miguel did a great job of keeping the pool area, and some guests (!), in order and is a credit to the hotel. Rooms - consistently spotless and well serviced with those incredible views. Reception - quick and efficient check in by Waldo and Gonzalo was always in hand to be super helpful. Adolfo always is super professional as the concierge. Reception is always well manned and nothing is too much trouble. Bar - Karim makes delicious cocktails - if you get chance ask for a mud slide or pina colada as both are incredible. We will be back!…
Lovely clean hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Pool area was nice and was not overcrowded but this may be because it’s September, but definitely not like an all inclusive hotel where usually there are hoards of people, who are usually very loud. Rooms was nice, 2 double beds and large bathroom. We only stayed B&B and the breakfast was nice and plenty to choose from. We ate in the evening at Lanao Lounge bar, food was nice and cheaper than the Main restaurant. Would recommend a visit
We booked the SPA at the Marriott in Denia as well as treatment each! They were very gracious when we arrived a little late as we got lost, but the treatments were donerful and we were told we didn't need to rush our 3 hour spa experience. The hydro pool is well worth it just for that! Beautiful surroundings and the staff are very attentive! We will be going again!
We recently stayed here for 8 nights and were very happy. This is a solid 4 star hotel. It’s in a nice, quiet location and never felt over busy. There was always plenty of sun loungers available. We upgraded to a Superior room ( 306) which was located on the third floor and had a lovely pool view. The room was great, very spacious and tastefully decorated. AMAZING bed, absolutely huge and so comfortable, we slept very well. The mini bar in the rooms are not stocked at present which i preferred as we could keep our own supplies cool. The walk in shower was also a great size. Housekeeping were excellent. I agree with others that the staff excel at this hotel. Every member we came across was professional, efficient and polite, its clear this is a very well managed hotel. Breakfast was very good with lots of variety, it was very busy at weekends in particular as I presume people come to play golf then? We ate in the pool bar area a few times and the Thai restaurant once ( worth noting in the Thai, you have a choice of 2 set menus and your party however large has to order the same which might not suit everybody) . If I had to mention anything in a slightly negative light, its that the Pool needs some attention / repair in areas, I also experienced slippery areas, mainly the seat around the jacuzzi - possibly down to peoples sunscreens? In all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We would not hesitate to return or recommend. The location is great with good access to both Denia and Javea although you do need a car ideally. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you Marriott La Sella Denia.…
We were at La Sella last Christmas and really enjoyed. We got married on the 5th August and decided La Sella was where we wanted to celebrate. It did nor disappoint. From the well organised dining room at breakfast to the pool area with the pool attendants and the towel service. The premium room are well appointed and the walk-in showers with cascade shower heads absolutely excellent. I have stayed in many 5* hotels over the years but have to say La Sella excels. So much so we’re again thinking of Christmas.
Top location for family, especially if you stay far from the chaos of the beach. The staff is very friendly and professional. The gym is good enough to keep fit Our stay was 4 nights. I think the maximum you can stay is from four to five nights. Strongly recommend
Located in a quiet(er) area, nice, clean property with great service. The kids loved the pool and the brunch buffet was expansive and the service was spot on. The rooms were clean, well maintained, and good-sized.
Was choose hotel according the facilities. We went to business trip with my husband, upon arrival at 3am was advised that we can order food from the room service menu at any time in 24h but in reality then he come from long driving at 2am and didn’t eat all day we was refused for the food. The hotel manager next day can do nothing but just apologies instead of accept our claim to partial refund. Also the Thai restaurant was closed all next day, but we were inform by the reservation that it will be open. Such a service for American brand
