This is one of our favourite Christmas hotels and we have stayed here many times. It is only a short walk to the seafront with all the bars and restaurants serving many different types of cuisine. Of course, the Parador restaurant is excellent and does not disappoint.
All of the staff which we encountered were very friendly and welcoming. We used the hotel for a very large Christmas Party in the evening, with 111 guests, and the entire event went perfectly. The dinner provided, along with the service, were excellent. We would highly recommend and will certainly be returning to the Parador de Javea.
We arent beach people but we thought a few days by the sea would be good. Arriving in rain at the Parador it look unpreposessing but it made up for it in stunning views, excellent service, great location and great food. All of the excellent rooms overlook the beach and the sea with stunning views. The rooms are well appointed with a great balcony to sit on. Dinner was excellent with a great selection of local food ( the sea food was a treat) and service was up to the usual high standards. Breakfast was of course excellent. Its an easy stroll from the Parador to the the beach and to the lovely small town of Javea. You could see how this is Parador where you could ease back and just enjoy many days...
I had visited this hotel almost twenty years ago and remembered its fantastic location. Located at the end of a small bay it cannot be bettered. Most rooms have views of the bay and the beautiful gardens. Helpful friendly staff. Free parking next to the hotel ( the hotel also has a secure car park opposite but this costs 10 euro per day). WiFi is free. Breakfast was included, lots of choice on the buffet and a small selection of cooked to order items. We enjoyed Javia with its vast selection of high quality restaurants and bars. Javia is a throw back to years gone by. I cannot wait to visit again..very soon.
As always this Parador delivers top draw service, location, and service. The views are outstanding and location perfect. Comfortable, quiet and dark rooms all with a view. Excellent on site restaurant. Large bathroom and wardrobes. Good Wi-Fi but unsecured. Excellent and consistent housekeeping. Only real criticisms are the the finishes are a bit dated and the hot water is somewhat inconsistent; it will stay warm with moments of hotter or cooler water. Nothing terrible, just a bit annoying.
This was my second time staying at the Parador and I look forward to returning, when possible. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly and so very helpful. On the night of 11th October, we slept for 9 hours, no doubt due to the comfortable beds. The evening meal was everything, and more, that you would expect at a Parador hotel. The views from the rooms are stunning, watching the sunrise over the Mediterranean. I highly recommend this hotel, for a stay, for a meal, or just for somewhere to go and relax for a few hours in the lounge or in the gardens. :)
This hotel is worth a visit, but you must not expect a typical 4 star hotel. It is very dated. The room is clean and functional, very hard Spanish beds, no coffee making facilities, a shower over a bath, wood starting to blow. But, we didn't care as the location was amazing, the balcony lovely and the views perfect. The staff were also very nice. The pool is unheated and has no sea view, but it works.
Was very disappointed with our visit, unfortunately the air conditioning was not working for our whole stay, had to keep the balcony door open and consequently got bitten by mosquitoes throughout the night. Also, was very surprised that when I looked up at the wall light above our table in the restaurant, it was full of spiders web
Often visit the Parador de Javea as it's the most perfect place to relax - stayed on 11 and 12 October 21 and woke up to wonderful sunset over the Mediterranean sea. The food and service throughout were excellent. This is the place to go if you just want to recharge your batteries and enjoy everything the Parador has to offer, including the magnificent views.
Ideally situated right by the beach at the end of town. A pebble beach is also nearby. Restaurants and bars are a short distance away. The gardens and swimming pool are lovely. Food and drink service on the terrace were very good. The staff speak excellent English.
