We chose the Tunacan Hotel due to our preference for small family run hotels and the fact they do not charge excessive extra charges for single rooms. The hotel is situated just off the main road, in a quiet location, and it has a swimming pool with a sunny aspect. Previous reviewers have given the Tunacan glowing references, and I...

I used to mock my Mum and Dad for going back to the same place until I discovered The Tunacan. I can not imagine now staying anywhere else. Nothing to much trouble for Ali and Turcan. Perfectly situated for the whole area and easy stroll to some great restaurants. The atmosphere created is excellent Please do yourself a favour and...

Back from the most relaxing three weeks holiday ever. Turcan, Ali, Sonny, Serge and friends are the people who tend to everything we need without complaint and always with a smile. The only problem is that this little hidden gem has been recommended to too many people. The upside of the problem is we now have even more friends to...

We went for the option of a smaller hotel as we find its a lot more friendlier and welcoming than a bigger complex. We were not disappointed-we felt welcomed from the beginning by Ali and Turkan- it was obvious that a lot of families return year after year and all guests were very chatty. The rooms were very basic but...

So, my wife and I returned to the mighty Tunacan. Third time for me, fourth time for her. It remains a marvel, and that's why I decided to write a second review. Ali & Turkan are wonderful as owners/operators/hosts. It really does feel like coming home when you arrive at the hotel. We consider A & T friends now -...

I loved my charming quiet clean room and the powerful ac and good wifi. Ali and Turkan are lovely and the guests who who are slightly older-sh, generally British, are mild mannered lovely people as well. The breakfast was wonderful and you can choose from their menu. I think it's good value.
