First time staying here for the weekend whilst visiting family. Lovely olde worlde pub, very inviting and made to feel very welcome in the bar. Had lunch which was very nice. The chalets are basic but clean and everything you need for a few nights stay. Double bed, plenty drawer space, kettle with tea, coffee and milk. Toilet and shower...

What a lovely, friendly pub/restaurant. Relaxed atmosphere and lovely grub. Large selection of beers and a bonus of a large garden area, for those long summer evenings. Child friendly and well behaved dogs welcome. What a little gem.

Great pub. It was taken over by new tenants in July and what a fantastic job they are doing. Brilliant atmosphere friendly helpful staff and now Kitchen has been completely refurbished and they are serving food. We have eaten here several times now. Food is excellent all home cooked and of great quality. I would highly recommend to anyone.

THE STAFF and building was very good , well worth a visit , will go back again soon. Great position near to the A1 and so many nice places to visit within a short drive. We had a great time on the river just up the road and not too far to Bedford.
