Quite basic but good location could be a bit cheaper really nice friendly hotel staff. Not got a lot more to say didn't see the food so can't comment clean and tidy room ample parking and WiFi that actually worked unlike some hotels

The receptionist doubled as the barman and chef assistant. The John Smith's was off or the pipes haven't been cleaned in years. The duvets are the thinnest I have ever seen. Corrosion on the shower rails. Ugh!

My family and I stayed at the Garden Court Sandy for 1 night over the bank holiday. It was previously owned by the Holiday Inn group and still comes up as (Holiday Inn) when searching on Google maps. On our arrival we checked in walked up the dirty stained stairs along the damp urine sort of smelling corridor and then...

This place is awful. Outdated, tired and very old fashioned. Desperately in need of a make over, or tear it down and start again. The staff are great and go out of their way to give you an enjoyable stay, but god knows who or where the so called hotel management were. Fawlty Towers at its very best. . .

A sad, rundown and shabby conference centre with urine stench lavatories and carpet sweeping style coffee from an urn at £1.95 a cup, with no alternatives other than taking your life in your hands crossing the A1 sliproad to buy in a machine from the service station. Electric sockets stuck to the wall with gaffer tape. I ran a weeks...

We arrived unsure we were in the right place as a friend had booked it for a group of us and referred to it as the holiday Inn. A very friendly, welcoming lady checked us in. The decor is a bit tired and there are light bulbs that need changing (we had to change rooms as only 1 working light...

I've stayed here a couple of times in the distant past when the hotel was part of the IHG Holiday Inn franchise, back then, the place was reasonable if unremarkable. I needed to stay overnight recently whilst between business meetings locally and thought I would ship in to the same hotel. Noting that it was no longer a Holiday Inn,...

After arriving at The Garden Court hotel, we were greeted by a lovely lady who was clearly only reception desk trained. She served us on the bar but hadn't a clue on how to pour a decent pint.....I work in the pub industry and I had to show her how....not a very good start already. Got to the room and...

The reception staff are friendly ,welcoming and efficient. The room was clean and the chambermaid keen to make sure we had a pleasant stay. The dining room staff were also pleasant and welcoming. The last lime we stayed here the breakfast in the conference room had not been a good experience. The dining room staff had ignored us and the...

I was disappointed with my night at this hotel. The room was clean but a bit tired looking. Mainly the carpet which was very spotty and the desk which had bubbles on the surface. The bathroom was clean and bright but the shower was the worst I have ever come across, the shower head was almost completely blocked by limescale....
