24 Unit cozy hotel located minutes Mount Rainier National Park. We offer free Wi-Fi, flat screen tvs, microwaves and refrigerators in every room and much more! King suites and conference room available. Small pets welcome.
We absolutely love our stay here at the lodge, it was a refreshing get away from the hustle and bustle of the stress and everyday life. The new manager there Ashley was so more than accommodating to our family. Really a grade A type of gal thank you for going above and beyond to make sure our stay was extra delightful. We will defiantly be returning next chance we get.

We had 8 family members traveling the PNW together and booked 3 rooms here for our stay over the July 4th holiday. We weren't quite sure what to expect, but had a wonderful time. The staff were so kind and welcoming! The rooms were spacious, clean, and quiet. The beds were by far the most comfortable of our trip (this was one of 3 accommodations during our trip). No longer having breakfast on-site was disappointing, but thankfully we realized before we came so we stopped at a grocery store on our way in from Seattle. The fridge in the room allowed us to keep cold items chilled until needed. We also brought in items to picnic while enjoying Mt Rainier. At the front desk, they had menus for several local restaurants and a list of what days/hours they were open. This was especially helpful for planning our dinner on July 4th. We ended up getting pizza takeout nearby and using the large picnic table outside the Lodge. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and I would recommend the Nisqually Lodge to families wanting to be near and enjoy Mt Rainer.…

This is a very nice hotel/lodge 5 miles from the entrance of Mt. Rainier. The staff was very nice and helpful, there is no breakfast but there is coffe and beverages in the lobby. After seeing some of the other hotels in the area we were very glad we chose this hotel.

Makayla was extremely friendly and helpful made us feel very welcome! The lodge was cozy with a beautiful view of the forest. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything especially the water pipes. The bed was not comfy, all three of us tossed and turned all night.

We stayed three nights at Nisqually Lodge and greatly enjoyed our stay. It was convenient to visit the Paradise entrance of Mt Rainier National park. The front desk had menus/times for the various restaurants in the area. It was helpful as many start closing in September and haven't yet updated their hours on their web sites. We had an upstairs room and did not hear any noise from the road or other guests. Appreciated the hot coffee all day in the lobby. Felt we paid a good price given the room location to the NP and time of year. Try September vs July/August, fewer crowds and better prices and the weather is still nice.

We only stayed here one night during our time at MRNP (we also stayed inside the park up at the national park lodge). I’ve been reading a lot of negative reviews but that was far from our case. We were pleased with our stay here and were happy to have wifi. I was over-the-moon that there was coffee available 24/7, not to mention a variety of hot teas to choose from which made my wife happy. Then, after we had left we realized that our 11 year old daughter accidentally left her silk pillow case behind. She uses it bc she has long hair and it helps to keep her hair from getting crazy knots while sleeping. We didn’t realize it until we got to Leavenworth and were unpacking. My wife called and let the staff at Nisqually Lodge know and luckily for my daughter, housekeeping had found it when cleaning our room. They mailed us the pillowcase and it was at our house in NC when we returned from our two week Pacific NW trip. Thank you, Nisqually Lodge for going out of your way to send our daughter her “favorite silk travel pillow case”. We would stay there again …

This is a pricey option. There is no breakfast available. There is only luke warm coffee early in the morning and it's not decaf. Lighting in the room was atrocious which made reading difficult (unless you have a Kindle or tablet, etc.). ZERO to watch on TV. Unfortunately, there aren't that many other options this close to Mt. Rainier park.

Careful how you book and with who. Ripped us smooth off because they said we “booked with “National Park”. National Park said it was the lodge that was at fault. We initially booked for 3 nights but realized we only needed two. Made contact with the lodge and told them as such. When we checked out, the keeper at the time said, are you supposed to be checking out today or tomorrow? We said “today” because we had our flight leaving Seattle at 6:15am the next day. She said, no problem. But then told us their “system was down” but would take care of it later. Long story short, our credit card came back with an additional almost $700 in charges. We contacted the lodge and they got instantly belligerent with us. “You didn’t book with us, take it up with “National Park”. National park tried to help us but said there was an error in the system. They called the lodge on our behalf. Lodge said, they’ve already been charged, there is nothing we can do.” Side note, before my wife even called “National Park”, the person on the phone at the lodge attacked her. “We’ve already spoken about this. This is just ridiculous.” My wife told her, “this is the first time I called”. The person at the lodge just kept her attitude rolling. Long story long, we were charged nearly $700 over what we agreed to and was figuratively told to go screw ourselves. No breakfast, no nothing, one step above a motel 6 for over $300 a night. Even their “WiFi” was garbage, but heck, they had coffee downstairs. I wouldn’t stay here for anything ever. Watch for a video fallow up on our YouTube channel “Messing With Texas”. It’s bad enough you screw people over, it’s worse when you have an attitude about it because you can get away with it. Two rooms at over $300 a night. Garbage total waste of money and time.…

The location is great, folks friendly, and room spacious and clean, and price reasonable. It is adjacent to the good Ukrainian bakery and restaurant; close to Mt. Rainier Natonal Park. However, if we return here we will ask for an upstairs room. We were ground floor and could hear every footstep, furniture move, shower, etc. above - all from about 11:30 PM to 1 AM. Too bad, otherwise a really nice place.

Cons: Our room was big enough, furnished with a random mix of old furniture, no carpeting, thin walls/sound traveled easily from hall & neighboring rooms. No elevator. Website says they offer evening glass of wine. Front desk said they stopped that a long time ago. There are new owners and they don't want to do it, but didn't bother to change their website. They are also ending breakfast soon. Unknown whether this will inspire a website update. We were there 4 nights. Some guests sang loudly, very loudly, until 10 - 10:30 each night. We asked the front desk to ask them to stop. Singing continued. Breakfast was the same every day, with no fresh fruit and powdered eggs, as much flour as egg. One waffle maker wasn't enough for the number of guests. Outdoor picnic table wasn't clean - we wiped it down before we were able to use it. Pros: staff was nice, (albeit overworked/overwhelmed); York Mints were in a dish on the front desk for guests to enjoy.…
