A repeat visit for a couple of nights to walk the loop of the Coastal Path through Maentwrog, using also the morning train to cross the estuary to Llandecwyn with the road still closed. As good as my visit last year - friendly and hospitable, excellent well-appointed room with views, very comfortable and clean. Home-made flapjacks in the room, interesting...

This was a last minute decision to go away for a few days, and decided we wanted a seaview place to stay. But didnt realize a lot of schools were still on holiday, and a lot of the places we looked at that suited us for accommodation & price were booked. So had to cast our search a little wider....

I stayed here for two nights at the end of a 3 week walk from Fishguard and easily found Wenallt which sits in a prominent location up a steep hill from the station. I received a very friendly and chatty welcome from Sarah and was shown to probably the largest room in which I have ever stayed! It accommodated a...

My partner and I stayed overnight on 2nd Oct. We had a very friendly welcome from Ian and shown to a lovely room with a great view and luxurious en-suite. The home-made shortbread on the tea tray was sublime. Breakfast the following morning certainly lived up to our, by now, high expectations! Highly recommended.

My first festival visit was made complete by several nights in Ian and Sarah's excellent guest-house. THE best vegetarian breakfast and a fabulous 'suite for one' with lovely touches like home-made flap-jacks which offered a much needed homely base after a long day out ! I went with my friend and her daughter and we are all only full of...

We stayed here for Festival No 6 as we could not face another year in a wet tent. Absolutely wonderful B&B. The hosts - Ian and Sarah could not have been more welcoming. My daughter loved the extra attention given to her - finding her Cocoa Pops and trying to accommodate her fussy diet! Especially loved the twin room that...

I have visited Wenallt guest house for several years now with friends. As I have mentioned before the guest house is very clean and comfortable. Most rooms have a good view, they are light and airy. The beds are comfy with soft pillows. Brewing facilities are excellent with ordinary coffee or decaff together with different teas (some fruit). You can...

It's probably all been said in the previous reviews - Wenallt is a lovely place to stay. A six night stay is no-where near long enough. From the welcome received by Sarah and Ian, to the quality and cleanliness of the rooms (and Sarah's biscuits) and last, but no means least, the superb breakfasts. The location is ideal and it...
