I stay at the hotel every month and I highly recommend. Can't beat the location, price and excellent service experience, especially from Joann and Jeff at the front desk, both go above and beyond every time.

SFO is closer, you can take the tram/ subway, and the Muni in to the city. We also used Uber alot, it's pretty reasonable. That's what we did on our 1st trip. Our 2nd trip to San Francisco, we rented a car.
