This was our 25th wedding anniversary trip and our stay at Dunleith commenced on the actual date (16th of April app 3pm)....we emailed in advance in order to reserve a table for us to have dinner that evening, at the hotel, to celebrate. We didn't receive a reply, so thought all was well. Upon arrival a very disinterested receptionist (possibly...

Wow! I could stay here forever! Dunleith was the perfect place for our adults only weekend getaway. I have never stayed in a bed and breakfast, so I splurged and reserved one of the queen suites in the mansion. It did not disappoint! Our room on the third floor was lovely and spacious. The four poster bed was super comfy,...

First, I want you to know that we did not stay at this property. We did, however, stay at a related property that allowed us a free tour. Not only can one tour the house but the grounds are extensive. There is a historic greenhouse, gardens, patio, and a small gift shop. We joined several others for a mid-morning tour....

We had high expectations and they exceeded them by far! Beautiful venue, wonderful staff and fantastic job by the culinary team. The bedrooms in the main house are furnished in period antiques which add to the Tara feeling. A great place for a destination wedding.

I was pleasantly surprised with Natchez and the walking tours around town made the trip informative and worthwhile. The stay comes complete with a complementary tour of the house which is a must for any visitor. The house was amazing and the grounds are in pristine condition. The room on the top floor of the house was spacious with a...

Our stay at Dunleith was just mediocre. The grounds are beautiful. We checked in a little after 3:00 and our room was not ready for us (even though they sent us up there as if it were). The bathroom was still a little dirty and bed not completely made. They came to put on new pillow cases, but we were...

I am sorry that your visit felt "mediocre" we try to make sure every detail is handled perfectly. With that being said, we do occasionally have hiccups when someone calls in sick or has to be out at the last minute for an emergency. We use a Linen Press on our sheets and so sometimes there are marks from the...

I stayed here recently on a trip with my mom. We came up from New Orleans to view the architecture of Natchez, which is known for its strikingly high concentration of antebellum homes. After spending a sleepless night at the Mytles plantation in St. Francisville (not entirely unexpected given its 'haunted' reputation, but still quite uncomfortable), this was the perfect...

We ate at the restaurant and were told we could tour the House and grounds. First the meal was great. Second the tour was wonderful. Great guide. Interesting history. Highly recommend. The grounds are spectacular on a a beautiful day.

My wife and I were driving from different states and chose to meet in Natchez. I found Dunleith on TripAdvisor and took a chance, renting a room for the night. She arrived first and the staff treated her like a queen helping her to our room and making sure everything was right. I arrived several hour later and the staff...

I did not stay here, but I had a tour of the house and also went for a breakfast in the "Castle" restaurant next door. The house is very impressive even as you only can tour the first floor. The tour by Terry Trovato was great. The views from the porch, and also from the adjacent little park at the...
