We wanted a safe and unique property that wasn’t just 5 star but unique! Hotel Wailea delivered in every category, especially in service, safety and beauty! The staff is beyond kind and fabulous! We highly recommend this property when searching for where to spend your time in Wailea, Maui!
My boyfriend and I stayed at Hotel Wailea towards the end of December 2020. The resort is phenomenal - amazing views of the ocean and West Maui Mountains, all the staff were very friendly and welcoming, the food is delicious, and landscaping / setting of the resort is just beautiful. We have been vacationing in Maui for over 15 years and Hotel Wailea is our new favorite resort (by far!). Secluded, relaxing, above the noise and crowds of Wailea’s larger resorts and excellent service.
Perfection! Beautiful giant suites with fully-stocked kitchen. Friendly staff. Lovely location in a hill above the beach (but with great beach access). Amazing views. Didn't realize how awesome it was being adults only until we went to the Four Seasons, which is overrun with children. Just a fantastic experience.
The Hotel Wailea wasn't cheap but was worth every penny. The adults only hotel only has 70 rooms and each has its own private suite. So, we felt like we owned our own secluded and beautiful plot of land in Maui for the week. The pool bar and food service was also top notch. Highly recommend.
Pros: It was a very nice hotel. It’s great for couples who would like to have tranquility and peace as the place is super Quiet. Property is beautiful, view of the ocean is breathtaking. Lobby is very unique looking. Great shuttle service within Wailea. Cons: Lack of entertainment, food options ( 1 bar and 1 restaurant on the property), personalized requests were not fulfilled until asked twice - especially when it comes to allergies, hotel should be paying attention to details. Be ready to take a shuttle to the beach, not a big deal for us, but for some people it could be. Hotel got more expensive than the last time we stayed in 2017. We stayed 7 nights, I think 3-5 nights at this hotel is enough, the rest could be spent at other hotel ( ex. four seasons if you want more entertainment and food options). …
