The lodge is in a. Beautiful setting, the staff is EXCELLENT! We stayed three nights and had an amazing time. The highlight was the night time canoe ride to the lake.... Rustic, but totally appropriate.i never got a bug bite! The generator was on from 6-10pm so we could charge our devices, otherwise it would have been fin without! Mosquito...

Ok, first this is the AMAZON it is not the Ritz in NYC. The little cabins are fine, there is running water (sometimes hot...water on demand heated by propane), a sink with running water, a toilet that works and a VERY comfortable bed (with mosquito netting although frankly I never saw one if four days). Electricity is from 6 to...

I know there are Amazon vacationers that liked this, but it was so bad that I would never go back. The cabins were very loosely built, not kept up, holes in the screen, so I was constantly getting bitten and even found bugs in my bed. I found a lizard in the batheroom, and the only time we did have...

Great slightly more affordable eco-lodge experience! They met us right at the airport and guided us from there to the lodge (minimal English until we got to the lodge, but that was fine). Many of the other lodges in the region (Napo River, out of Coca) were several hours further upstream. That means there may have been more animal sightings,...

I cannot express how much I enjoyed my stay in Yarina Eco Lodge. I loved the cabins and the general outlay of the lodge, full of trees and tropical flowers. It's located right within the primary forest, so the hikes from the lodge were always wonderful, with a huge biodiversity of plants, birds, insects and mammals. The lodge owns a...

I stayed at Yarina for 5 days/4 nights in February. It's a very well-maintained ecolodge with a friendly staff (my guide Livio was extremely helpful and cheerful every day) and beautiful forest surroundings. It's not in the heart of Yasuni National Park, but between the oil exploration and increasing eco-tourism, I get the feeling it's hard to ever feel like...

This lodge is about a 45 minute canoe ride down the Napo River from Coca. It is located just up a much smaller river that is very narrow. The lodge is one large open air building with a lounge, restaurant & bar and a about 20 small cabins. Each room is in its own cabin and has an attached bathroom....

I'll start off by saying the listing should have the lodge location in Coca, since it is less than an hour by boat from there. My wife and I started our two week honeymoon in Ecuador spending 4 days/3 nights at Yarina followed by a week on the Galapagos. The idea was we could do some fun, interesting stuff in...

Staying in this lodge was amazing. The cabins were cozy and clean and the food was fantastic. The best part was being in the middle of the rain forest and hearing the rain on the roof and the monkeys playing in the trees. A wonderful experience.
