We had the most amazing experience in Napo wildlife center from the moment riding a canoe into the lodge with poncho in the rain. Fortunately, our group ended up with a 6 people's small group with one experienced naturalist- Sergio( aka Tyson) and one native guide- Jeorge from Napo community. They are so passionate and energetic at everything in Amazon...

I've traveled to many Amazonian ecolodges and found NWC one of the best in term of beautiful location, relatively easy to get to, very comfortable lodging. The only reason I did not give an excellent is because our guide was in a bad mood the whole time. He was very knowledgeable and showed us many birds and primates, but it...

We stayed 4 nights at the Ecolodge, and enjoyed every minute of it. Our 2 guides were amazing at finding birds, monkeys and anything else, no matter how small. They rowed us up small canals where we watch monkeys jump from tree to tree, saw different species of monkeys as well as many species of birds. We went up their...

We spent 4 nights at the lodge last week, and we already want to go back (in fact, we didn't really want to leave). Getting there: Napo employees greet you at the check-in counter at the Quito airport; from there it's a short flight to Coca, a 2.5 hour motorized canoe ride up the Napo river, and then a 2...

I went to Napo two weeks ago and had an amazing experience. To get there is the start of the spectacular journey. First we went on a 40 minute plane ride over the Andes from Quito to a small town in the middle of the rainforest, by the name of Coca. We then went on a 2 and a half...

I came here with my partner and two kids and had a special time, magical even. You reach the lodge itself at the end of two long and beautiful boat rides, one motorized, one not, and as you emerge from a canal into a beautiful lagoon, the world changes. The forests hum with the sound of many different kinds of...

I visited Napo last week and had a wonderful experience. Our guides were amazing at spotting wildlife, good binoculars are essential. The highlight for me was seeing a family of river otters at least three times and watching leaf cutter ants go about their business in the lodge vicinity. Thankyou to the Anhanga people for building and running this beautiful...

Our family of four has been lucky enough to have some amazing wildlife experiences in the past in Alaska, Africa and Australia. Our experience at Napo rivalled the very best we have seen.
