Stayed here with my partner. Really enjoyed our stay. Loved the warm muffins and late check out. The place was clean and cosy, service was great and they made it feel personal. The resident cat was friendly (and were not even cat people). The motel is close to everything and nice and quiet. Recommended!

Friendly welcoming hosts, complete with warm muffins on check in. Range of DVDs to borrow. Clean well appointed units, with full kitchen serviced daily . Suitable for travelling with children. Some noise from the street, but reasonably private. Would recommend if needing somewhere in South Auckland.

The Grange Lodge is quite convenient to Auckland Airport. The family room had plenty of space. The blockout curtains in the bedroom made it nice and dark for sleeping. The kitchen was well equipped (although rather outdated). If you don't mind a bit of mould on the bathroom walls and having a shower in a bath, it's fine. Mind you...

Nice little hotel in the suburb of Papatoetoe, on the outskirts of Auckland, Rooms were good, but the heater needed to be upgraded, The hotel is a 10 minute walk away from shops so you really need a car to stay at this place. The staff were excellent and very helpful, In all I would stay here again.

We stayed in a two bedroom unit while on a visit to Rainbow's End. On the positive the beds were really comfortable. It was a bit noisy backing on to a busy road. This could be improved if double glazed. Overall it was rather dated and tired. It needs some investment to improve.

Based on reviews here we booked to stay for one night on route from airport to Half Moon Bay ferry terminal. Our two bedroom chalet was dirty and full of cobwebs. Everything felt sticky to the touch. Ended up checking out and moving to another hotel.

My wife and I flew in to Auckland and stayed 2 nights at Grange Lodge Motel. It had a lovely and homely feel and the beds were comfortable. The location is also really convenient to get to the airport as we needed to catch a flight early the next day to Queenstown. The rooms were really clean and well serviced....

We had a two bedroom unit which on arrival was very clean and tidy.Serviced daily.Hostess was helpful. Only drawback is that it is situated backing onto a very busy road so traffic noise at night makes a good nights sleep difficult.

Had a night stopover here on a recent trip and we were treated incredibly well. The young Asian guy I charge went to almost extremes to make sure we enjoyedour stay and that we were comfortable. Just 10 minutes drive to the city and being spotlessly clean, we rate it highly. Nice quiet spot in suburbia, although we did request...

I was looking for convenient access to the airport when I booked this motel, not access to Auckland attractions. It worked great for that. The street on the east side is very busy/noisy, but away from that it's fine. Clean safe neighborhood.

HI, thank you so much for taking time to write down this review for grange motel. As our motel was locate at the side of main road it might got some sounds from the traffic, but we already made it to be the acceptable level. Thank you for saying our room is clean, I am so appreciated that.
